when do you start putting 20-20-20 to the plant should i wait till the first few sets show or after that even. My seedlings have just shown theyre first sets only.

Depends on what soil medium your using. A good potting soil usually has enough nutes for the first Mo. Id start real mild with something like 20-6-6 you need a heavy dose of nitrogen for veging, and when it's flowering time change to a flowering nute!

It depends on the type of soil medium you are using....
I use soilless blend with dolomite lime. I like to begin feeding when plants are showing their first set of true leaves.....I like Jack's Classic 20 20 20 for seedlings...I start with only 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water. I feed with every watering.
A little goes a long way.
