I'm drying some of my crop now. Everything in my "grow tent/humidor" inside my shop was coasting along at about 55% RH by just leaving the flap-doors ajar, until this morning when the dry Santana winds blew-in from the desert, and dropped the RH to 14% within 3-hrs.
I retaliated by soaking a towel in water and squeezing out the excess - then hung it in the 50x50x80 grow tent/humidor, not dripping, and zipped it shut. I came back a couple hrs. later and the RH is hoovering at about 54% RH.
I fought the Santana's and my curing crop won, and I'll never have another premature curing as long as I have a wet towel and a zippered tent.
