I agree with 6string, i think youll want your temps up a bit... I struggled with temps at the beginning of my first run here with cobs.. I think 78-80 is were i have mine now and there loving it.. I had experienced some slow growth at around 70.. I was always trying to get rid of the heat with hps, now i had to add a heater to my tent...
Cheers
Ive actually heard from a few people who said they like to run higher temps with cobs. Im not worried about it, its still cold outside here and my room is staying between 73-75. Im in the desert so once it heats up I should be right where I should be. Its ready starting to get warmer out so ill just let it be. I am however going to purchase a 70qt dehumidifier this week. It will be the easiest solution to get my humidity down. Ill need it after about week 4.

Nar it looks like it could be just 1 massive bud if you wanted by the pic..
Can you get a single photo of it?
Because im trying to see whats best for the garden.
The nodes are super close together, I feel like it will be one massive cola on each branch. The bloom kaos in the nectar for the gods line is what caused that. Once i started using it, I started seeing insane node growth and stacking. Ill snap a pic tonight for ya when lights are on :)

I didnt upgrade my lights for electricity savings per say, as power is pretty cheap here.. I just hated having 1 light source trying to blanket 10 plants.. And i hated having the extraction fan running non stop, ballast fans running, bulb changes, etc, etc... My low temps are also happening as i am only doing 4 plants right now and am only running one panel.. Once both panels are up and going i dont think the heater will kick on at all.. With one panel around 300-350w , my tent stays at about 22c, I've found that the girls like 25c..I have one of those heavy duty canvas tents(called premium canvas), and it seems to hold the temps in well.. Ive only had it come on once while ive been in the tent.. I bought one of those inkbird temp controllers that u plug a heater in and you extraction fan and it will regulate whatever temp u want... They work fantastic..
Cheers
I did it for the same reason. I was using a 315w cmh and just got really shitty penetration even at 18" from the canopy. Because it was a single source of light, its difficult to get a good spread. Quality was on point, but anything lower than about 12" was pretty larfy. if it had an external ballast Id stick it in the middle of the leds. Im gonna build more though, I already have a hlg-320-1400 waiting for some cobs to power.

Thank you for posting! I bought 8 Heatsinks on sale and got veroSE's while they still $25each then got stuck on which driver. I wanted to get the same set up as you but EFFICIENCY is all the talk in my circle. This driver is the best best way to get everything out that COB on paper( well my paper work). Pulling the trigger and getting the driver now

hello all, just wanted to post my finished vero build. Vero 29 SE on 2 hlg-240-1750. Each bar is 44" long with 140mm sinks. Frame is rivited together. Not dimmed. I plan on mounting kilowatt displays eventually, I just needed to get them hung so I could flip.
