Firefox w/Windows 10

I've been using chrome, but switched to firefox since it was already installed on my new laptop.
I may switch back to chrome because Firefox leaks memory like a dirty bastard.
It was SLOOOOOOOW as fuck, so I checked task manager & firefox was using almost 3 GB of memory!
WTF???
Killed & restarted the process & all is well -- for now.

Has anyone else seen this?

Most of the time I hover around 800 mb even with 6+ sessions open.
BUT IT JUST HAPPENED!
Not sure why.
This one has proven to be a real bitch to repro...

if it don't ease the leak it will only free up the pc some..? maybe

as for nortons the footprint is/was huge also a favorite with the us govt. ?

as for anti vir I go anything 'free' ..lol many about

4gb is barely enough ram, you need more. Twice as much would be best. Cheap af on Newegg. That’ll keep windows page file (virtual memory) use to a minimum and will be the cheapest way to make your computer faster. If you tell me what make/model computer, I can post up a link of compatible memory.
