First attempt at growing , (White Widow)

This is my first attempt at growing, will have a lot of questions along the way.
My grow tent will be here in a couple of days.
What I have-
AC Infinity 2x4 Grow Tent System
CLOUDFORGE T3 humidifier
Fox Farm Happy Frog potting soil
Fox Farm Soil Nutrients
White Widow feminized seeds
Should I order a heating pad to help maintain temperature in grow tent?
Looking at iPower Seeding Heat Mat 48"×20.75"
Grow tent will be in a room that's about 70°-74°.
What is ideal temperature and humidity for White Widow?
What distance should lights be above the plants?
What is time line for seedling, vegetation, and flowering?
Any help or advice is appreciated, total noob here.

70-74 day and night? if anything with the lights on it may get too hot in the tent. so no heating needed. also if you are not pulling in fresh air from outside humidity will be a problem how is your rh without any plants in the room?

Yes day and night, wife is anemic, always cold. Humidity in the house is usually 35%-40%, I do have a humidifier for the grow tent.

65° -80° should be good. 40-55 for humidity. Temp you wanna stay on the warmer side and humidity you want on the lower side. You don't need a heat mat, but you might wanna think about airflow. Your girls would love a fan, so they can grow big and strong.

i am using a dehum and still cant hit 40 in the tent haha. your temps are fine. and if you want you can use humidifier when they are small and vegging but in flower low rh is a good thing it will prevent most fungal problems you can encounter.

I think your ambient temps will be ok with a heat pad. Otherwise you want ambient air at 78-80. Humidity should be 60’s. If you do the heat pad, Make sure you get the thermostat with it. It has a probe you can put in soil so that you can keep the actual soil temp at 75-78, which will greatly improve germination. Without it, they typically overheat soil. They do like that bottom up heat during germination.
If you want to stick with fox farm, get the ocean forest, happy frog doesn’t have much food. Honestly though, I’d get the roots organic original. It has always slightly outperformed ocean in all side by side trials.
Start seeds in 3x3 pot 50/50 mix light warrior and planting mix. Water with thrive alive, great white, gnatrol, and big bloom. Just go like 1ml/gal of each and 1/4tsp of powder. Keep moist but not soggy and have lights on 24hrs until they all pop, then 18/6. Transplant when they are drying out almost every day into 2gal pot root’s organic. Once sex shows, top and shape plant. When 2gal pot dries almost every day go to 10-15gal pot of roots organic. After 10-14 days flip into flower. Use 1ml/gal calmag each water if using r/o water. Only use fox farm liquid nutrients when plant shows signs of needing food like yellow leaves. Keep water pH 6.3-6.8 and use 75% less then fox farm feeding schedule says. Slowly add to that if you see signs they need more food. Hope that helps.

There are many good nutrients out there, why use only fax farm liquids?

100% agree. That’s not what I was saying, I meant only use liquids once soil shows signs of running out of food, didn’t mean only use fox farm liquids. I was just giving advice for what he had. I like botanicare, house and garden, canna, millennium and a few others. At this point I just mix up heady soils with little to no liquids, but to each there own you know, there are many methods that work well.

Heat pad is not a great source of heat once they really start to grow. If it’s cold, you may want to look into a small oil heater. Aim for mid to high 70s. Once roots really establish, you don’t want to be heating them up anyway.

If growing inside of a grow tent, a heat mat shouldn't be needed. The grow light should help to maintain decent temperatures. If using autoflowers, I'd recommend using 4 gallon self watering pots. Makes it easier for watering because any excess will run out of the bottom of the pot itself. Photoperiods, I'd recommend using between 7-10 gallon pots. Make sure you.keeo your humidity level average at around 40-50. Seedlings up to 64% percent because mold can set up with humidity levels start at 65%. Also, every time you water your plants the humidity levels quality raise. Another issue with the SOG method is the fact that it makes it harder to control the humidity levels insode the grow tent. The more plants, the harder to control the humidity levels, not to mention the fact that the more light your plants recirve the better the yield and amount of actual buds you will get. Also as far as lighting, I'm using a 100 watt led grow light as well as 400 watt led grow light. I keep my lights about 20" above the top of my plants. Any grow lamps that are over 600 watt led, I'd recommend you taking the height up to around 32-36" of height above the plant tops.

After a total of 14 days since germination your plants should be between 2-4 tall. I'm on day 16 today and my gorilla cookies plants are about 5-6" in height and are looking pretty good.
