First Autfem grow. Got a couple questions.

Okay so this is the first time I'm actually attempting to grow weed and I've chosen to start out on Dutch Passion's Star Ryder and Auto Mazar strains because they look like pretty decent self-sufficient strains. They take around 70 days from germination to harvest. I chose autofem because of my short growing season here in Atlantic Canada because I am growing OUTDOORS and also because I'm not very patient. I know there are a lot of threads about using Miracle-Gro products so if you have used those you could definitely help me out here! I've done a bunch of research to try and find out step-by-step what I am supposed to expect.
My questions are:
1) Should I start them in 16 oz cups for the first two weeks to moniter them and make sure they are healthy plants as loosely reccomended on the Dutch Passion website OR should I plant them in the soil they are to be harvested in?
2) Should I use Miracle-Gro soil that has 3 months worth of nutes already in it and not add any nutes for the entire time OR should I use regular soil and add Miracle-Gro All Purpose nutes to the plant?
Thanks in advance if you have any input!!

The smaller the starting container the faster plant growth is. I used to laugh at that claim but having tried it on a 20-plant grow I can assure you it works.

Why MG? Whatever the reason go "regular" soil and use reduced ratio feedings. By regular do you mean regular earth?

If regular earth it will need additives for volume and drainage. Additionally it should be evenly spread on baking sheets and baked at 350F for an hour minimum to kill any unwanteds. Quite an experience, that one.

And I hear you on the autos. For next year here in Alaska I have seeds for Dinafem White Widow Auto and World of Seedss White Rhino X Mazar i Sharifi. Photoperiod plants here require a greenhouse for sunlight grows. Even then flowering has to be supplemented with HID/Fluorescent since by the time we hit 12/12 we only have an average 3 weeks before a killing frost.

I grew both indoors experimentally before ordering any sizable seed order and Sea Of Seedss didn't let me down. Autos may suck indoors because of yield but it is the only option for guerrilla grows here. 2 crops easy a year.
