Aborted The Ultimate, switched out for the MK Ultra. In the market for new "backup" seeds now. Hmmmmm...
What kind of backups you looking for? Yield? Potency? Sativa? Indicia? Flavor profile? There are some nice ones out there that fit, you are wanting to stay autos right, there are some pretty hardy fast growing photos also

Autos for simplicity right now, only having 1 grow space, 1 lamp, 1 light cycle etc. I woud like to grow some mister scrogs in future though!

Currently with this first run of autos I went for Ultimate and Shiznit for potential yields, and the MK for potency. Ideally, if I ran 2/3 autos at a time, 1 yielder, 1 heavy indica dom, 1 flavour/smell legend.

I'll have a look around man. Are you planning on ploughing straight into the photo grow when the tent is empty? What strain you thinking of going for?

Yeah I got a mix pack by Dr Underground 2 of each, Painkiller, Crystal METH, king Kong and melon gum, plus some nice freebies, Afghan skunk, amnesia, sour kosher and few others. Just gunna run 1 Dr Underground - Painkiller, veg for 6-8 weeks then flip, planning on topping once and plenty of lst.

Yield wise the heavyweight vast and fast are good , haven't tried the 2 v2f yet, they can get up to 20% thc according to breeder, but I'm not a fan of the taste(perfumy) in my opinion.I'm doing barneys critical rapido right now, lower thc, but higher cbd, I'll let you know about indoor yield in a couple weeks they should be done in about 2-3, they look pretty good sized though, and they don't taste bad either, outside they beast up nice.

I have grown Sweet Seeds autos with success, had problems when feeding them before week 4 thou. The Nitrogen toxicity problem is real and can wreck your yield..Uncover bud sites from larger leaves to increase harvest.

I grew a Blimburn Grizzly Purple Auto, a freebie, and it was the easiest plant to maintain and very forgiving; although the smoke was not too potent.. I had bad luck with a Heavyweight fast and vast.. possible over nutes and the thing stunted.. In my case, trying to push yield with more nutes early in plant cycle was a mistake..

I germinate in final 3-4 gallon air pot or fabric bag and this requires early attention (first 20 days) to health of seedlings and unfortunately takes up much more space.. Many sweet seed autos finished in 8 weeks time under varying light regimen 18/6, 24/0. --I prefer my smoke sweet and heady. I have run them later in flowering cycle(910 weeks) and been blasted by the potency and knocked out by the couch lock..

How did that critical rapid turn out? Getting ready to start them myself

been a while since I grew those gals out,I grew them under 2 300w galaxy hydros if I remember right, the non trained plant did double the yeild of the one I lst'ed, good tasting earthy flowers with a pretty nice body high if I remember, also good for appetite, made me hungry for sure, here's a pic of each just before chop, hindsight I should have given them a week or two more, don't remember just how long I let them go exactly now though.

-Start in final pot, so you don't have to transplant. Some people say transplanting is ok, but there is a risk of stunting the plant and some people have even reported no further growth after a transplant. If your using a 15L pot then you don't need to water the whole pot at first, just water around the seedling and increase the amount and area each watering. It will dry out much quicker if you're using air pots/smart pots but still don't want to suffocate them while they're seedlings. Are you using air pots (plastic pots with holes in)? or smart pots (fabric)? They both do the same thing but there is a difference.

-I would suggest LST'ing them as soon as they are big enough. If you do a bit of reading you may even decide to top but there's mixed opinions on that so you'll have to decide if it's worth the risk.

-Go easy on nutrients if/when you start using them, start at 1/8 of the dose on the bottle.

-Be patient, they can take a few weeks to get going but there will be an explosive growth period. Don't expect to hit the seed info time either, most run a few weeks longer.

-I think you have an identical set up to me, did you buy it as a kit off eBay? Running two is a wise choice, I ran four and ran out of space. But I found the 400w didn't reach lower down to well but my plants got up to 70-85cm, so you can try keep them short with some training or harvest the top half of the plant first then lower lights/raise pots until the rest are ready.
Can you grow autos in dwc?

Pretty sure you can grow any plant in dwc(except maybe grass?)it's a gardening style, same as soil
Edit: I guess with rockwool cubes you could even grow grass in dwc
Well I think that's what I want to hear I have one going in a 5 gallon bucket now I can update you if you'd like
