Best of luck.

If you do your end right you will be very surprised in the quality of smoke from those bag seeds you planted.

What's your PH at? I had some twisting of my leaves and I read it was caused by the PH being off. Also, I read that top of the rockwool should some hydroton covering it so that it doesn't dry out or grow algae.

Lastly, the dull side of the foil is more reflective :).

Ok so here are some more pics we are now at the beginning of week 3 the plant that split is forming nicely cant wait to see how big its gonna get everything else is in check nutes still low at this time but adding every time a gallon of water is lost the 1/6th deal. For PH I've noticed that what works is between 5.8 and 6.2 i check in the morning if its between those readings i leave it alone i only adjust if it goes up past 6.2.
Oh if any1 is wondering about hotspots with foil it happens if you don't circulate air, very little problems now but in the beginning i almost killed them all with heat lesson learned. Temp goes from 80 to 85 sometimes higher depends how hot the apartment gets humidity is between 50 and 70%. All and all looks good to me. Those roots are going down no problems there. Personally i think they are growing normally not fast or slow compared to others i've seen on this site but hey first grow so lets see. i got a few more pics up my sleeve so i'll be back tim e to eat then blaze.

So what i think i have are sativas so far the babies are growing nice going on week 4 for the 2 tall ones and the split1 is going on week 3 the other 2 that where transplanted are on week 2 the small 1 in the cup is the kush will transplant later not sure to keep on soil or get a bucketeer? One of the tranplanted plants wreak of skunk:shock: at 3 weeks that's crazy the whole closet smells goooood. Nutes have gone up every 3 for 4 days, only 1 plant has shown some burn which is the one that smells. Besides that all seems good to me..... see ya'll in a few.

Hello every1 I've been busy for the past 2 weeks i have not posted anything new:cry:.
.......................Not like any1 cares! but hey if i can help someone today with my grow then im a happy man. i know because alot of you out there helped me makes this all possible ......tear drop....(again).

Ok so i left off at the beginning of week 5. 1 Og Kush "Cup'O Kush" and 5 bagseeds...:-| good shit though will see. Out of the 5 only 1 was a male:hump:. That was the 1 that split on me. That plant went through hell it was deformed like crazy and before i plucked him he got split in half again by a falling lamp. Taped his ass back up and he flourished.... before he showed his true identity then he had to go.

So know from tallest to smallest 7 weeks then 6 weeks then the other 2 are on their 5th week and the kush on it's 2nd week. I will transplant the kush later on today to a bigger pot (5ltr). Today will start they're 12/12 cycle they are getting tall maybe too tall. So far the only issue that i've had is heat besides that no problems.

I have a question for the pros is it ok to still use the grow nutrients with the bloom and microbase or just microbase and bloom??? for 12/12?? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

The first set of picks are from about 2 weeks ago then they get closer to date.

Haha.... Did you see those Pelitos! (hairs).
Yeah baby almost there.

As for Nutes they are on normal dose now following label keeping it safe. One thing that i regret is i started foliage spraying late in the grow so for the next one im starting from the gecko with just water and then little by little add nutes just following label.

In the beginning i had algae problems with tubes and pump in all that shit. So i still use 6 teaspoons of peroxide every 3 to 4 days to keep that in check never had another problem again but be consitent.

Has any1 heard of blood meal for soil?

I've been following your grow as i grow with the same system. Looks like everything is going pretty well for ya. I just have a couple of pieces of advice that I've picked up while using this system. I noticed that most of your rockwool was about 1/4-1/2 in above the hydroton. I found I had better success placing the rockwool cubes lower in the cups then what SH recommends. This enabled me to cover the tops of the cubes completely with hydroton to hold in moisture and then placed my cut out, styrofoam, rubber mat, etc. to keep the light out (I see you have some styro over the cups now which is a good idea). I don't know if you ever got an answer to your questions about the nutes. I use GH Flora nutes (Grow, Bloom, Micro) and i use all 3 throughout the growing cycle, until i start my flush 10 days before harvest (I use a product called Flora Kleen, also from GH to flush and imho it's the best product to flush i have found. I also noticed that some of your roots were starting to look kind of cream-brown. Some strains will naturally have somewhat cream colored roots, but I found in most cases, (including mine) that it was a problem. (Depending on the kind and color of the nutes you are using, they can "dye" the roots to some degree) I started using a product called hygrozyme that has beneficial bacteria in it to help promote a healthier root system, and it's worked so well I wouldn't consider doing a hydro grow without it. You can do a very successful grow with cfl's, in fact my first 5 grows were all with cfl, and i got a respectable yield, but the buds were not as dense as i would have liked. For the money i was spending on all those cfl's, about $50-$70 a grow(and all the trouble of constantly moving and also dropping bulbs and breaking them) I was able to pick up a 430w hps off of craigslist for $125. The hps produces way more dense and heavier buds, and since it's only 430w i just have one fan blowing on the light to keep it cool, and it rarely gets above 77 in my room(4x4x8). These are just some of the things I've experienced using this system that helped me, so hopefully some of it will prove useful to you. Your grows looking good, keep up the good work! (p.s. when i went ahead and spent the $50 to get a hanna digital ph meter, and a hanna digital ppm meter, i was able to control my nute solution much more closely, and ended up with heavier harvests. I did my first 3 grows without either of these and it worked ok, but know I get a lot more weight.)

Hey man thanks for the reply. Wasn't to sure but I will keep the nutes the same way i have them now Micro, Grow and Bloom for 12/12. They are not brand names but i will try the goods next time not sure though to go with GH or AN. Yeah i thought the same with the rockwool idk about you but i had problems with algae and those tubes did you? I'm not using the tubes now dont know if it will make a diff??
As for the lights the reason i dont go big is because of heat i am looking at a 150 hps maybe you've seen them from sun systems plugs into outlet about 80 bucks or so its the heat that worries me im in a WARM CLIMATE VERY WARM with cfl's i had serious issues so i can only imagine with an HPS but when i move believe me 400 watts it is. Are you growing right now if so let me know would love to see the setup.
