I love the way GreenFireKilla ties his plants like that. It is exactly what I am doing on my little journal. It also has worked great outside. Not only does it lower profile but I feel like it really ups the yeild by increasing the penatration of the light. It may be even more important to train under CPF than outside though because the light is so much weaker and penatrates the canopy less.

shefsmoke, Maybe give it a try on one of your plants so you can compare yeilds or something. It will help with the vertical issue as well I bet.

Ya man 14 days of veg. They don't really do much in those 14 days though. They really start to take off after about 3 and a half weeks. They start branching and shooting up. After that is the flowering most of the time all you will see is hairs and then the last two weeks to one week they start packing on the weight. I wanted to tie them down so I could get better light penetration to the bottom shoots. Last time I found them the be REALLY light/airy so I'm trying to dense them up.

IMO more light is better even when the plant is young. It discourages internodal stretching and promotes faster growth. It is good to be careful with HID lights around seedlings but I think you will be safe with CPF. Just not to close.

I am excited to see that closent fill up. What do you think, around 4 months seed to harvest on 12/12 from seed? Maybe 5. I know you must be anxious to get those AK and WW going.

Is the WW autoflowering too? If not will you veg. it up or just go 12/12 from seed as well?

Wish that WW was autoflowering but its not. I just checked on the seeds. the WW seed has poked its root tail out. the AK47 still waiting for it to come out. prolly tom I will plant the WW for ensure of enuff root is out of the shell. Im thinking of going with the 150w HPS from htgsupply.com but idk if my dresser can hold that with temps and etc...

Looking Nice. Now it's time to play the waiting game. It always seems like they grow so slow at this point to me.

I checked out attitude, looks great. Did you see the strains under the Barney's Farm breeders. Some crazy good lookin/sounding plants. Still waiting on my HID....

I here a lot that if you buy good seeds that not only will the bud be better, but that the plant will grow with faster and with more vigor. I am toying with the idea of ordering some seeds myself... maybe Blue Cheese or 8-ball, Red cherryberry looks killer too.

You should post some pics of them in the their new pots man. They look good though this is the slowest part of the whole grow cycle.

I've had some trouble starting out my WS seedlings. I didn't think anything about the cow manure having any nutes in it (doesn't say on the bag). Leaves are yellowish still with a green tint and small browning on the tips of them. I think they will recover with time.
