So within a day they all are growing well I suppose. I had a question if anybody can answer. How often am I suppose to check Ppm and PH? The seem to be growing but when I check the ppm they don’t seem to be eating the light nutes. Or is that later in the grow ? 7A39D9DD-47BC-4B0E-BA08-A71D71DB92EC.jpeg

A lil root shot, no problems growing thicker and more roots everyday hoping to keep them going.E9576994-6A9D-4D52-8082-2EC7154B228D.jpeg

Good looking roots. Do you use mycorrhiza or trichoderma fungi? Or just h202? Or is it only bioroot?

What's your trick to keep Rez temp at 64 degrees? I could try DWC, ready to go, but controlling Rez temp seems like a battle without some sort of plan. I have 3.5 gallon, insulated pots with 4" net pots and digital temp sensor. If you don't RDWC, then how would my Rez temps stay low enough even in a tent in the low to mid 70's?

The only thing I do to keep my Rez down is throw a frozen water bottle two times a day. One in the morning then one in the evening a few hours before lights out and in a 3.5 gallon it should keep it down. The highest temp mine gets is 70 which I’m learning that they don’t mind. No signs of root rot at all!! Honestly don’t over think it, I did a lot of reading and I learned quick just keep it simple. As this is my first time getting into this.

two times a day
Twice a day...too much maintenance for me. I wanted to put a wort chiller coil in each bucket and recirculate from a cooling rez with a few frozen gallon jugs in it. If I could go a few days without screwing with it...I might do it. I've got zero interest in buying a chiller.

It’s all preference though man honestly that’s just what I do. Buying a chiller is out for me too lol. So I work with what I have to keep the girls happy ya know.

Yeah, definitely. They're looking great.

I did a SWC one time. Black rectangular plastic trays, with 1" styrofoam floating in them and neoprene collars. Had 10 going...struggled with pH fluctuations, but all 10 plants ended up being male :wall:

Honestly, this is the biggest challenge I face in hydro-keeping rez temps stable. After 3 years of hydro grows, using a beneficial innoculant like Hydroguard to keep roots healthy, as long as rez temps stayed below 80 degF the plants have thrived. The ice coolers do help me when it's a really hot day but so far it works.

Aww man that unfortunate yeah I do either clones or Feminized seeds lol. I had my experience with males and I won’t ever do it again lol.

Yeah I believe as long as you keep down below 75-80 then I feel like everything will thrive.

I want to breed and make my own seed stock...so I like regs. I'm just about to start flowering a male God's AK-47 to collect pollen. Yeah, it makes me nervous even though the male tent is kinda segregated.
