first dwc

i have grown a couple of plants in a closet and now i am ready to try a dwc. i had some ww seeds from cannibasseeds.com(don't get me started) out of 12 seeds 1 opened after 31/2 weeks. a friend had 9 seeds out of about 8 oz of some killer bud, so i planted them. 1 was cracked but 7 for 8 out of the rest. i made this little flood tray to get them started.pics are 3 days after germ. the light is a plugbar with 3 ys and 4 6500k 23w and 2 2700k 23w. reflecter is aliminum zip tied to it.

i made this 4 gal dwc to let them veg for a couple of weeks. these pics are 7 days. using dutch master advanced a + b grow. 10ml per gal. started lights 16/8 switched to 18/6 when i moved to dwc.

10 days since germ. looking good i guess.

How did you make that Light Reflecter

it is the aluminum kickplate off a screen door. baked on white paint. its works great, high gloss. it does warm up after about 10hrs. craft wire to hold it in shape and hang it. real easy to change hieght.

dude things are lookin good here.....some thoughts for next time though ditch the rockwool next run...for me i have a tendency to keep the water level up high...so the rockwool likes to stay super wet and drowns my little girls...havnet had the problem since i went back to my aerocloner

thanks. they were cheap. its also hard to get hydro products in my neck of the woods.

yes it is foil tape from my ac friend. i just hope it does not cause any problems like aluminum foil does.

if you get the chance, light up a bowl and take a look at my thread (link below)... its my first grow and I made plenty of mistakes, and corrected (most of) them,

learn from mine (and all of our) mistakes LOL

it was a good read. i see you had a headache or two. looks like it turned out good except for the hermie part. if i have any problems, i hope i get as much advice.

here is the day 14 update. changed the res. upped the nutes to 15ml a+b dutchmaster advance veg. per gallon. found the mix schedule online. the plants are doing great. the 2 bigger ones are 5" tall. i put a fan on them a couple of days ago. there was a little bit of leaf curl upwards. to much wind? could that be a humidity thing? the roots have took off like crazy.
