First full on coco grow

10 days in things still looking good. Outgoing ppm is slowly catching up to the input. Input is 900 ppm and coming back at 800. Ph is 5.8 on both ends. At this point I am just curious. I know it’s nothing to be concerned about because everything looks healthy. Yes the pics suck w the lights on. I’m not around very much otherwise and it’s a pita to shut them all off and turn on the work lights to get a good pic. Anyways ✌

Ohh! Excited to see how your space does!

What are you running your temp & rh at? Still watering 2x a day? Some leaves could be showing signs of heat stress, i think?

If you have hps polarized glasses to put in front of the camera, you could filter out the orange. Or there's an hps camera lens available thru amazon if you wanna go that route. :peace:

60%rh
75f-78f nights 68-79
Going to put in the co2 gen in tonight. I will let the temp creep up into the low 80’s.
I exhaust humidity so I may up the rh a few % points if I am pulling out too much co2. Generally it’s not a problem. I also have a fresh air intake acting as a trynobal switch in case heat gets too crazy I do like it to come on on occasion so I set it at 85-86 that way it does.
What looks like heat stress is just a shitty photo. All leaves unblemished w a good consistent green color.
Output is closing in on input. So I went down to 850 ppm and I’m coming back between 725 - 800. The 900 ppm I ran just had the feel of too much too soon. Better to ride it out a bit more IMO, than to tinker. I finally “just said no”. For that I am pleasantly at ease.
The polarized glasses yeah love it. Will do in a week. Thanks for asking & shit. Please share experiences and any recommendations or whatever. I’m totally riding a chill wave and like to talk shop. Thanks bro

Day 19 stretch. Everything looking good so far. Zero issues, good color, no salt build up the one thing I think I could do is more under canopy pruning. I been slacking a bit there. Maybe hard to tell from the photos. Yeah looking at the pics it does seem fairly congested. I gotta get rid of the under canopy shit that’s going to just make popcorn. I suppose I had better not wait on that.

So does this look like nute burn? I left the dome off the try of unrooted cuttings for a few hours and had some wilting. I misted them put the lid back on and got some recovery minus the yellow leaves which formed over the past two and a half days. Substrate never dried out. Cant figure out what it’s from! In the past I’ve seen wilted plants revived but always a few leaves turn yellow after a few days. What’s the difference? Could it be damage from wilting finally catching up as it will do. It’s a common occurrence I think I’m not the only one who’s experienced this. Just hoping for some input from the community as to the proper terminology so I don’t sound stupid lol. Ty very much as always.

I should add..,,
this tray is identical in every way minus leaving the dome off for a few hours. No yellow leaves hmmm...
I’ve done this in the past and generally things recover (w a few yellow leaves that I pluck off unless I don’t make the time right away.then they hang there till I get around to transplanting them.)
Just figured this was important to add because in the past I think it may have led to some confusion and animosity of which I want no part of re-hashing. I sincerely am interested to know if it’s nute burn and how it happens or whatever the underlying cause may be. Opinions from the community are what I am looking for. Ty again.

No input for the outcast? C- mon.... I figured things would have been smoothed over by now. Guess folks are good at holding grudges? I don’t know what it is around here.

Don’t take it personally lol
Yellowing isn't unusual in clones around the rooting stage.

A dome/humidity is important if your not using a sprayer/bubble cloner, it's possibly important with them but you can get away without it.

Okay yes. I do use a dome and occasionally I forget to put it back after misting. The wilting that occurs is not without its casualties showing as yellowing leaves that may resemble nute burn to some. They get damaged , I pick them off and move on. On a different occasion I referred to leaves from the exact cause I illustrated above as “petered out”. My terminology was the catalyst to a stupid many page bunch of b.s text war. I did However get defensive, my bad. It happens when I’m indirectly being called a moron cause I’m a little different. Thanks for the reply, I just wanted to double check that I wasn’t crazy (at the moment) gotta about it now.
Anyways sry for the shitty photo there’s almost no excuse for it lol! I am seriously loving this coco. I like having the complete control over it. Making smal corrections etc all happens fast. I’m definitely hooked on it. Just as good is vegging in coco. Really fast growth rates . Good stuff .image.jpg

This is 4 days ago lights off. I can’t wait to ditch this motley array of hps ballasts and reflectors although I do like the adjust-a-wing. I’m running De, single, de etc 6 lights. After this crop I’m upgrading to led. Fuck this 6000 watt shit when I could be running 640 and have enough left over to fire up half the other side of this room.
So... even though I “ had a lot going on” during the veg cycle for this crop and was told to “ take a step back and re-evaluate “ cause I had questions cause it’s my first coco grow (and not the last” it just goes to show don’t judge a book if your not willing to take the time and read the first page w an open mind. I feel like I coulda got a lot more outta this experience than pure fucking bullshit aggravation cause like a pack of dogs some just go w the flow and completely miss what’s going on. I came here cause there are stellar growers compared to elsewhere, not for the load of bullshit that was thrown into my bucket cause some just can’t control their egos. I c it a lot here. So ✌And good growing to all you humble craftsmen and artists and BALLS to all u other fucks who think they have nothing more to learn. I’m alive because there’s always more to learn. If there wasn’t Ismaili probably just smoke myself to death cause I’d turn into a bitter asshole. Anyways ✌Again to all the humble farmers out there.
paratwice over and out bitches !!!
