First go at it

Hey guys my roommate and I are giving it our first attempt ever.

Our set up is as follows:
-1000 wat full spectrum led
-20x36x64 tent
-6 inch MAX inline fan 450 CFM three speeds
-can 9000 filter
-3 3 gallon smart pots
-5 smaller plastic pots
- small fan in tent
- thermometer/ hygrometer
- fox farms ocean floor soil mixed with more perlite
-fox farm nutrients: grow big, tiger bloom, and big bloom

I have 4 cabbage patch seeds germinating right now and two other strains in the mail.

I will post pictures later once things progress.

My plan is to only use nutrients when plant is 12-18 inches tall. I also plan on moving over to flower 12/12 after a few days after transfer to sex them. I will then go back to veg light schedule 18/6 for another few weeks.

I am like 99% sure all my stuff if way overkill for my tent and 3 plant a rig I plan. I would rather have more light/ fan/ filter than needed so I can step it up later.

Any other advice tips trick that you want to share is more than welcome.

Thank you all,
Cas

The only overkill I see is the light. That's 1000 ACTUAL watts in less than 6 square feet? If it is, that's a LOT of light for that small area and you wouldn't be able to utilize it all without CO2.

It would not let me edit my previous post so here are the details of the photos in order
-set up
-2 days after they poked through the soil
- nutrient schedule I am going to be following
-plants today or 4 days after poking through the soil

He's using Blurple lights so it's not actually 1000 watts.
Would you mind sharing with me how to determine the actual watts or some helpful information. I only have a 24 inch by 36 inch space so I figured the 1000W should be PLENTY, and even less than 1000 as it seems you dont' think I am getting that much.

What kind of light is it? what brand if any?
I know this is not very helpful but I am not sure. I received the light as a gift as my friend was moving and said I could have everything in his storage unit. He had not used it in years so he does not remember. Here is a picture of the light.

So what do you recommend / suggest. Do you think I should add some CFLS. I know HPS bulbs would be better I just do not have the space / money right now for those so figured I could easily put in some CFLS?

Thank you
