I am new to RIU but I have been doing a lot of reading and am hoping to get some help on my first grow. So far I this is what I'm using.
600w hps (hydrofarm Pro light system) for flowering
28w LED for veg
Primair twin fan speed adjuster for temp.
8" intake and 4" exhaust with a carbon filter
CO2 regulator, 120V solenoid 20lbs tank.
All of this is in a semi airtight room I built under my stairs the dimensions are a follows. Basically a 1 x 1 x 2 meter rectangle and then the area actually under the stairs which is a 45 degree slope down from that 2 meters still a meter wide al the way down.
Eventually I want to have plants at two stages of flowering in here. With four late in flower and 4 about 3 weeks behind. For This first grow though I will have 6 plants.
I am going to grow from clones that will already be rooted in soil about 6" high. I don't know the strains yet as I will be picking them up later today. I'll try to post some picks of the room and the plants. I am planning on using LST and a SOG in conjunction to maximize yeild and for consistancy in bud size.
That's what I know right now. Any constructive criticism would be much appreciated. Also I was wondering what people would suggest for a soil when I transplant my ladies? Will the LED provide enough light for vegging or should I use in in conjunction with the florescent lights I already have?
