Very nice! Our grows have almost the same birthday, mine is on day 24 of flower. I just replaced my Viparspectra 300 with a cob led setup a couple weeks ago. I really like how cool it ran. Your plants looks great, very healthy, the next 3 weeks will be fun! Keep up the good work

Just posting an update. On day 38 of 12/12 light cycle. Things are looking pretty frosty. Does the size look right for this time frame?

Do the flowers look to be size they should based on the time frame they have been in this cycle? I have not point of reference to go from though I think I am happy so far with the results. There is still about another 3 weeks of flowering time to go and they have been growing faster as they get larger it seems. Or maybe I am just imagining that.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for all the feedback so far.

Thanks CAfree,

Will post some updated shot today or tomorrow.

Post a few of your pics if possible. I'd love to compare.

About day 29 flower but I use mh/hps 400watt. Soil ff and minimal nutes. Not much to compared with the lights being different but why not? ;)

How do you like the LED's? I want to try them for the summer to combat the heat issues hopefully.

Super nice.

You really let them bush out.

I trimmed the hell out of mine.

But I have round two going right now in another tent that I plan to let bush out instead of trimming down to compare the results in the final yield.

I like the LED so far but I don't have anything to compare it to. It was a choice made based on heat and running costs for me. That is why I went LED. Right now I have 5 lights running at just over 680 watts and that takes care of two tents and does not heat up the room.

HPS would have killed my already high electric bill and I would not have been able to pull all that heat out of the room so LED it was.

Yo CAfreeNclear,

I just took a better look at your pics from my pc instead of my phone to admire the beauty and it looks like you might have a little heat stress. The leaves are curling inward a bit which is normally a sign of it being a bit too hot.

But as I have said before this is my first time going at it so I could be mistaken. What are the temps like?

I thought the girth was a bit low as well (referring to my pics) @MediheaLed but was not sure since this was round #1 for me. And since there was a lot more time left and they appear to be growing faster as they get bigger I thought I would wait until the end to make my judgement. But I think this they will be small colas. Really high quality but not a lot of yield.

Not sure where I am going to make changes at in round since these plants ended up being so healthy. It could be these are a strain that does not produce huge yields. There are just too many factors so I gave up and just decied to be happy with whatever comes out.

But man has the wait been long. This was a real test of my patience ;)

You're for sure right it's heat stress.. but it's been hot in cali last few days.. my tent is getting up to 84 sometimes :(. This is my first grow but on my next run I will fix this issue. My temps are usually in 77-80 range most of the time when the lights on.. :/

Hopefully I don't get fluffy fluffy nugs.. But hopefully it cools down soon. ;)

Thanks smoke.

Really appreciated the feedback.

I'll let you know how the flowering goes.

I'm making a time lapse of the whole thing that I will post as soon as the grow is complete. Even has night vision so you can see what is happening during the dark time periods.

It's a pretty cool video so far.

That's awesome! I've always wanted to do that!

Hey, is your light still at 18" from the tops? Or closer now, for flowering? Dont know if they are 3 or5 w leds but I looked up those vipars, their 136 true watts each.

No do not wait two weeks before u begin ur "flowering count". U start ur count at first sign of flowering, typically 10 or so days after the flip when growing from seed and much sooner for clones.

But yeah i cant wait for the time lapse!! Gunna be sweeeet!

I was going to use the trichrome development to determine its readiness and not the amount of days in cycle.

I bought a microscope to take a close look. Still have quite some time to go.

I figured each plant could be slightly different from the next since they are different strains.

I started the count the same day I flipped the cycle but I always stated this as the time in which I switched to 12/12 cycle. I never actually called it flowering cycle or days . I could go back through the pictures to then determine what day to change it to but in the end it will be ready when it is ready. I was only counting days to record how long the process took for round 1 with these strains. Just to have some data points.

Here are some pics from today which by the count I have been using would be day 48 of the 12/12 light cycle.

Finally got the time lapse video posted to youtube. I had to cut it to about 1 month of video due to size of plants and where I could place the camera. This is composed of about 60K shots over a 1 month period and then put together at 60FPS. From 12-11-2016 to 01-02-2017
