I bought...
11-23 watt Daylight CFL's
1 Soft White CFL
10x50 sheet of panda film
10x10 sheet of panda film
70lb bag of Pro-mix HP
400 watt HPS
6in GrowBright Inline Fan/ Carbon Filter combo...424cfm
Fox Farm Grow Big
and an assortment of all kinds of gizmos and doodads thats I just cant remember.

My plan is that I have a spare bedroom and I'm going to be using that as an entire grow space. I'm going to put the CFL's in my closet for vegging and I built my own grow tent/chamber to flower in vertically.

I live alone in an upstairs apartment and my buddy lives in the downstairs, we own the house so noise isnt an issue but its somewhat of a ghetto area so smell control is a MUST....bedroom door has been upgraded with a heavy handle lock and the frame reinforced by 6in screws.

I started with 8 little girls but alas 3 have perished so far....I found out putting CFL's 1 inch away from my little children just roasted them alive so now I'm down to 5. One has either some burns or I dont know on its little leaves so any help would be AWESOME!!.....I am brand new at this and although I went for a decent setup I'm going to need much love and support to get to the green.

New pics. My big one, I named her Shirley...is close to 7.5 almost 8 inches and I think I'm about to transplant her today into her final pot which is a 3 gallons. If you look at the pics her bottom leaves are yellow which I'm pretty sure is due to a Nitrogen deficiency but anyone want to back me up on that?

3/4 new ones are starting to really starting to grow and are on their 3 or 4th node each and are just 3 days shy of 2 weeks old. The problem I'm seeing though is it doesn't look like their stalks can hold their weight. My first plant never gave me this problem and I don't know what to do. I have a small 4in fan in there oscillating on low to move air and cool the veg room so I thought that would help to thicken but it hasn't. Does anyone have any ideas ion what I should do? Maybe tie them to a stake for a while to hep out.

Also when yo ulook at picture number 5 thats a top view of one of the new plants. It seems to be growing strange. Picture 4 is the side view. I dont really know how to describe it besides saying the leaves on 1 side are almost double the other side and I rotate each place twice a day. Anyone know whats wrong with it?

I'm thinking another week of vegging before I put Shirley into the Flowering chamber. i want her to be around 12in..maybe more. Think thats possible?

I transplanted Shirley into her new 3 gallon home and found out she was root bound as hell which has me worried. I thought most people finished in 3 gal pots but with how bound she was maybe I should put her in a 5 gal?? I want her anywhere from 12-14in when I got to flower. Any thoughts?

Do You fertilize them? Whats the pH in the soil and water?
Plant in third picture - looks like it needs N, fourth - over fertilized, 7th - genetics or it needs some trace elements.
Those are just my thoughts. Might be wrong.
