Long time smoker, first time grower. Im using miracle gro potting soil with moisture control and using miracel gro liquid plant food throughout the grow. I know MG doesn't compare to ff or any other other awesome potting soil but its what was at home depot so im using it. I have 1 x 40 watt cfl, 4 x 23 watt, 1 x 13 watt and 1 x 9 watt to add a little blue spectrum (yes, i have no idea what the hell im talking about). I also have a few of those wal mart grow lights and flourescents around the outside of the box. I planted Brea and Ella about a week and half ago. gabby has just sprouted within a day or two. The plants have been on 20/4 light schedule for the last week and a hlaf and at the end of this week im going to start 12/12. Yes i know my yield will suck, and everything aint right but im just learning and hope to eveentually get this process down to a science. Ive done a lot of research and realize that the way im doing things would not be ideal or practical for most people but i have limited space and cant let these girls get to big.
