So I checked up on the plants today and either they are loving the nutes or at this stage they just grow very rapidly, but most are 5" some are even at 6"+ and they are a little more than 3 weeks old! Im thinking of vegging for another 10 days, what do you guys think? Here is my plan:

1. Veg for another 10 days, then go into flowering cycle under 1000W Hps and switch to flowering nutes.

2. Findout sex, destroy the males. Transplant all the females into 8" pots. Keep 3-5 mothers, depending on how many fems I get.

3. Put the mothers back into veg, take many clones and flower them early, begin mini SoG process.

How does this sound? Also, how many clones can I expect to be able to get from 4 mothers that would be 40 days old/1.5-2 ft high? Keep in mind Im looking to get larger clones since they aren't going to be vegged for very long. Thanks in advance!

In your pictures the yellowing is on the lowest leaves. This is very common for cannibis plants and many other plants. I would expect them to shrivel up and die and the rest of the plant to be fine. If you find this yellowing to continue, then I would consider it a problem. Leaves die, so does your skin.
This is so true.
As long as you still see continued new growth.

I have seen growth spurts using molases myself.
I tryed it after Videoman suggested it per his thread.
I also started using bloom nutes after sexing.

Are you using any co2 supplement?

I wish I had a cam.
You guys make me jealous.
hope to get one this week or next.

Happy growing.

No, no Co2 yet. I was told to wait till flowering at that point I will add several 2l bottles of the yeast co2 method. Also regarding the yellow leaves, I choppped off all the ones that were over 60% yellow and about 15 leaves total were removed. They look much cleaner now :)

So its been a while since my last update, but much progress has been made. Mother's day makes it Day #29 for the oldest ones and Day #25 for a few. The biggest ones are about 12" high and the rest aren't too far behind. I've added some CO2 which they seem to love. Also have upped watering to once everyday, but feeding every 2nd watering. I've also cut all the yellow leaves off. I'm thinking of vegging for another 5-10 days, any thoughts? Cheers, happy mother's day!

P.S anyone know how to change the thread title, if possible?

So for anyone who still cares, today (Veg Day 31) I killed 7 boys, leaving me with 20 left and about 5 confirmed girlies and the others a bit too early to tell. My guess by the looks of it is I'll get another maximum of 5 boys leaving me with 15/27, 55%. Its a shame, the boys were very healthy and nice looking. Thanks!

Man I really have to change the thread title to get a little more attention over here haha

Hey there. I'm at 5.5 weeks and just re-potted from an 8" to a 10" pot (size of standard bucket) tonight and looking at the roots my timing was about right. So I'm suggesting that you give the 8" pots a miss and got straight to atleast 10" pots.

I won't be flowering until I can get some rooted clones off my baby which won't be for a couple of weeks atleast from what I've been told here.

Hi, an 8" pot is fine from flower to harvest, it is large enough, especially since Im not looking to have 4' plants.

Damn bruh, 27 plants is a lot! The last pics you posted I only saw about 13. How many confirmed females you got now and do you have any new pics? my bad for not stoppin by earlier but it looks like you have everything under control.

BUT
My only 2cents is:
From the last pics you posted it looks like you have aluminum foil on the wall. Is that true?

and also I noticed the plants were sitting in kinda a puddle of run-off water, that invites white powder mildew into your grow room (Mildew thrives in a semi-warm climate with moderate humidity. It usually sits right on top of the soil and slowly works its way up the stem.)

just keep it clean and stay dopeboy fresh

My man thanks for stopping by. You only saw 13 because my two-sides look very alike but there was 14 under one light and 13 under the other. Now its 10 under each light. I have about 4-6 CONFIRMED females and at least one from each strain and my guess is about 4-6 more will be males. I'll probably be working with 15 females in the end. Big diff from 27, but gotta get through that first cycle right?

Yea it is foil..I know hot spots etc but honestly it has worked well and the plants are rotated daily, but I know its not the best and Im working on getting mylar I finally found a place that carries it. The plants are on a heavy see through plastic material and the water drains onto it and is absorbed quickly because of the material its made of and it gets dry within 20-35 mins. Do you still think its dangerous? Keep in mind I'm always rotating and I wipe down the plastic sheet once a week. My setup needs mad adjustments to start getting underway (need a sec for clones and for mothers) but hopefully it goes through. No pics yet but not much growth since the last pics, I will in a few though...

take it eassy!

Naa, It doesnt sound too dangerous. Thats a good move rotating the plants also. As you can see the majority of growing these plants is keeping a balance in the environment- that is, if you're lacking something, make sure U make up for it by doing something else (ie. No mylar, so you have to keep rotating the plants etc..) Keep up the good work and the herb will "come around"

Hey man, I'm going to flower starting tomorow night and I'll take pictures 2 days in they look the same as the last pics except tallers. You know, the Skunk #1s are the only strain which NONE of them have shown me sex yet, they develop slower than the other ones I guess. No I haven't topped them, should I, did you?

I also took my first clones yesterday and they are under flouros... They drooped down right away but according to some researchers they all do that, I'm going to leave them for a couple of days and see if they root properly since I took fairly large clones. Cheers

well... i did.... twice each plant ( i have 2 plants) and now i have instead 1 main bud/plant, i have 4 main buds/plant + lower buds. i guess it's too late to top them now, but keep in mind and use it your next grow. ;) after 8-9 days of flowering i found out i have 2 females of 2!

regarding clones, i know that you can't take clones when you're under flowering, but in veg period. i mean it's good you did, but if one of them are male .... you took them for nothing. anyway.. hope you'll have all females like me, and post pics as soon as you take them :blsmoke:
