Hi everyone.
Just registered on the forum to share some pictures of fresh harvested buds from my first ever grow, so i can have some expert's opinion and suggestion for the next grow.
I was on a budget and not in a perfect environment, plus i had very little space.

SETUP
very spartan

Yaroot 2 pots dwc tank, with dripping system (which was kinda useless, i must admit), and two small aquarium airstones with the airpump on 24/7 for the whole cycle.
Lights - 250w Hps agro + megalux v reflector. Light cycle 20/4 then 18/6 the last three weeks (for the electricity bill)
Small clip fan to blow air on the plants+ 10,5 cm aspirator with carbon filter.
All mounted in a growroom made out of a small fabric wardrobe , you know the cheap ones with metal tubing skeleton, internally covered with white reflecting stuff.
No measurement tools except of course a digital PHmeter.

FEEDING STRATEGY
very essential

Tap water (first week in rockwool)
Lucas Formula with tap water - GH flora micro(hard water) and flora grow.. but that was obvious.
Flushed last week with tap water sat 24h to let chlorine evaporate (i don't know how much effective)
Water PH always around 5.8
Rez changed evey week.

--------------------------------------------------

I planted two Dutch passion autoblueberry seeds as you could understand.
The seed sprouted in paper towels, than transfered in rockwool cubes inside the incubator where the started growing for a week or so.
The moment i saw the first true leaves and the roots passing through the bottom of the cube, i moved the cubes into the DWC system letting the pop of the bubbles lightly touch the cubes blocked into hydroton (call it clay pellets).

The entire cycle went pretty good, but i did underestimate the plants' size.
They grew very bushy, and after the 5th week the branches were litteraly packed into the wardrobe.
In other words, little or no light managed to pass the first layer of leaves.
At the end of the cycle i had large colas on top and just began to form flowers on the rest of the plant. F**k.
I could have done a staggered harvest but i needed to make the damn plants disappear due to parents visiting.
Also, the last two weeks the main colas were 40cm or so close to the light which was at the highest possible position, that resulting in some burning on the top leaves.
Beside these problems, quality of the weed seemed pretty good and buds were nicley covered in resin even though not excessively, but that's an automatic plant.
I kept the buds upside down for 4 days than in glass jars, kept in the dark opened two times a day to change buds position .
Wet weight of the buds i don't know, but i weighted them after the first 4 days of drying and they were 87grams.
The weight now is about 68 grams.
Even though i know they still have to cure for a bit, at this stage smoke is very nice and kinda sweet, sometimes too sweet, i can't stand casual mj anymore.
Scissor hash was very little, but fantastic to smoke...maybe a bit heavy for the lungs.
I'm gonna make some bubble hash with secret icer screens from the huge amount of leaves and underdeveloped flowers i got left.

Waiting for opinions and suggestions.
Thank you.

Oh important question.
I didn't manage to keep that beautiful color of the buds.
The dry buds are now kinda darker and more brownish.
Could it be a too fast drying? Should i have put the wet buds directly into the glass jars without hanging them first?
Let me know what do you think guys.

From what I read you're supposed to hang dry or put them in some bud dryer until the outsides of buds are dry (about 4 days or longer) but basically so you can take a stem and snap it but it won't break off yet, it'll bend back. This is when you put them in the jars and burp them 4 hours a day to let moisture out.

Each time you close the jar it draws moisture out of the core of the bud, each time you open that moisture evaporates out. Do this until buds are 10-15% wet. I'm not sure on how to tell that, it must just come with doing it a lot of times. Finished product the stems should snap off. Then leave it in the jars for however long you want to cure it for. Longer the better is the consensus.

Harvest looks nice, good luck.
