Growing in soil under 250w HPS. 2 plants, started them in hydro and transplanted to soil. Gave the plants 1 week to recover from shock and 2 weeks of veg to continue to grow strong. Total Veg time is 4 weeks hydro + 3 weeks in soil = 7 weeks.

I started 12/12 3 days ago.

I have pics from the girls when they were smaller. I will add them later. They are crummy cell phone pics any way.

Basically the plants were about 12" grown str8 up. I started LST soon after the transplant to soil.

Grow room is 44"x24"x63" (tall). Lots of ventilation (still have a lot of problems) and quite a few DIY carbon filters.

I also have a can66 filter with a 6" blower on it. The carbon in this filter seems to be expired and I will be replacing it very soon. at $177.00 it's not the easiest thing to swallow, but these beautiful ladies already STANK!

haha. I noticed that it looks like I have a HUGE setup when in reality it's a tiny little setup. But I anticipate that the 2 plants will completely fill the space. I am hoping to get 2 oz each out of these.

Does that seem pretty realistic? They were vegged quite awhile to get them some size and spread out nicely with LST to evenly distribute light. These started as pretty healthy clones so they were probably a total of 9 weeks veg from rooting.

One is Blueberry and one is I believe Master Kush. I really don't remember (I know that's sad), I picked up 15 clones from the dispensary and I only kept these two. My friend is almost finished with 8.

I took 8 more clones from these about 4 days before flowering and they are looking good too! I'm hoping to see some roots tomorrow when I go check on them. They are going to be vegged in another friends place while I finish this up.

4 days into flowering and the smell is overwhelming. I'm getting a bit scared. The carbon filter isn't doing the trick. The DIY carbon filters are doing less and I don't know what to do next. I think I'm going to try the odor removal bucket design of the famous Videoman and see if it rememdies the problem. I think it's the blueberry that is just REALLY super dank. Security is becoming a concern and I am willing to spend $30 and some time to try to fix it.

Has anyone else used this method and had much success?

I had a problem with smell. During the first 4 weeks or so my plant stunk like hell. It is weird, now that it's in flowering I can't smell it no more. Or maybe I'm just getting used 2 it. :joint: :hump: Oh well, hope you have the same luck

Hopefully. I have to say, I went out and bought the 5 gallon bucket and the fan. Couldn't find ONA ( eventually did find it and now have a bottle), and couldn't find Soil Moist (still can't find it). So in the meantime I am using pine-sol and water in the bucket and it works fan-f***in-tastic. I can't smell a thing and it just smells clean. At first the smell is overwhelming, but it gets much much milder and definitely cleans out the skunky smell.

Of all the crap I have done to try to keep the smell down, this is the one that finally works...haha.

Flowering Day 12:

Had a couple of issues with the ladies. Had an infestation of gnats. Sprayed with insecticide to kill the little buggers off. Seems to have worked perfectly, need to water cure at the last stages now to be sure to remove any harmful elements.

The temperature is rising and so is my anxiety. I have my 12/12 setup for 7:45am - 7:45pm (on). The temperature in the grow room yesterday hit 95 degrees. I went out and purchased a small A/C unit for the grow room, but it doesn't work properly and won't be a good addition so I will return it today and try to find a better solution. I don't like half ass solutions, if I need to spend a little more money to get the right shit, then so be it.

I raised the light up to get it off the taller shoots and try to lower heat stress, but I would really like to be able to drop it back down very soon. Need to get as much light on those suckers as possible.

Flowering Day 16:

I have started running the A/C in my home to keep the place cool during these warmer days and to keep the grow room cooled down.

The plants seem really happy now. Crystals are starting to form on the blueberry now and the other one is growing like gangbusters. It's growing at a rate of about 1" per day.

I will try to get some new pics up, but really they don't look much different, just bigger.
