First grow, more or less an experiment

This is my first grow, and i thought it was about time to throw a journal up.
I posted some Highlight pics from seedling to today, in the third pic.
This is also my first Hydro setup too, its a 10G tank with a 150W HPS light and two 26W CFL's.
I'm also useing SensiGrow as the nutes and have been following this [advancednutrients.com] calc for how much nutes to use, so far so good with that.
You can also see that one side of the plant has a stunted leaf, anyone know why that would have happened?

thanks for the info

Well, my first plant has matured a little more and you can see the pre-flowers in a little more detail and sadly it is a male :spew:

so the other day (as a precaution if this did turn out as a male) we germinated another seed that we had. Two days later you can see what it looks like in the second picture.
the seedling is on the same light schedule as the other one, just using pure water and no nutes yet.
keeping my fingers crossed on the new one to be a girl, but the up side is that i know i am useing the right amount of nutes and have the distance for the light down.

Did a little trimming today and put a few weights on the lower branches to try and get them to grow out and away from the center.( pic 1 & 5)
The bottom of the main stock is starting to get nice and thick. (pic 2)
I also noticed some brown spots only on the largest of leaves, not on any of the smaller maturing leaves. (pic 3)
And Little Green #2 is doing good too, on day 3 and is a little taller then yesterday. (pic 4)

Decided to experiment with topping today, I took one of the side branches and cut the leaf bud off the top .( pic 1)

The roots are getting long, and are starting to make bridges under the pot in the water.
The seedling is doing well, not feeding it any nutes yet, just tap water. (pic 2)

Lights are still on 20/4.

Didnt add any nutes to the water today, maybe tomorrow.

took a few more of the large fan leaves off, to thin it out and allow the light to get further down. (pic 1)

The seedling has been moved into the rock wool, the root is about 3 times longer then the seedling. (pic 2)
