I always water before transplanting and I feed them in thoroughly after they are planted, but that's me LOL. Pretty much horticultural industry standard when working with plants of any kind, it keep all the soil together when you pull that bitch or asshole out hands down, and I like a clean grow room I dont want perilite and soil chunks all over the fucking place - gotta stay clean! Keep up the good work MadButcher Do YOU! Thanks for Growing! Peace, be safe MD.

That's what I did too! I used a same size small pot to create a cavity in the soil and sprayed the walls to moisten them. That way my transplant fit in there like a glove and needs no disturbing at all :)

I do this too while i refrain from watering the plant for a couple days before I drop it into its new wet pot.

Thats exactly what I mean. You don't water, I do. And both works. But for noobs, it's confusing. And I'm plenty confused as is lol

So, I decided to fim these girls a few days back and see. Figured, if I bugger that up, I top them. The fimming really didn't show what I expected within 4 days. Maybe I'm too impatient. But the new growth didn't look any deferent from the previous. So, tonight, I topped them since that doesn't seem to require as much precision.
Now I wonder how much time I should let go by till I top again. Obviously enough to let new sprouts /stems establish. But then ?

Since I up potted, plants look great! They just don't seem to grow at all. 2" is what they've added in height. I looked at lighting, temperature and that's all ok. I tried finding solutions and all I'm kinda stuck with is I might be watering too much or ovedfeeding them. There's no physical sign of overfeeding (ppm in the runoffis high) on the plants tho, other than that they're super short, like no taller than a pop can.
They're super densely grown ...tight nodes and all.
I'm a bit at a wits end :(

Up potted and some topping/pruning done. Things are picking up now! The weird yellows just reflecting light on water droplets.

Looks like my first grow using burple LED.
Short but with lots of big leaf growth. My problem ended up being cal+mag problem.
Once I sorted that they put on some height.
Ended up switching to White LEDs (CREE COBs) Never had cal+mag problem again on those.

These turned out to be root bound. I totally under estimated the growth speed on those.
Cal/mag is something I feed mine every second watering. And the other watering I add molasses.

So, yesterday I decided to do some LST on my girls. And this is what the Sour Diesel looked like this morning...

It has been topped twice and I think it's looking pretty decent for a first. Still shorter than I figured it would be but if the crop is ok I don't care plus I don't have to worry too much about the height of my tent and all that stuff.

Also put my bigger led panel in there now. Probably gonna set up the smaller one in my small tent and shove my bubble cloner in there, since that's finished being build too.

Everything looks good, but it would be nice to see some pics in a more natural (non blurple) light. Nice grow, though!

Thanks :)
I'm always worried about light and don't really want to turn the led off to take pics. I'll take some at harvest day for sure.

It never hurts to turn the led off for a few moments during the light period, just don't turn it on during the dark period, just so you know.
