hey guys, i finally got my first grow on it's way and i wanted some opinions, and maybe some advice. I've got two gro lux bulbs (23 watts and 1500 lumens each) and a combination of 2 daylight, 2 bright white and one soft white flouros that total 150 watts (12000 lumens in all) all 5 seedlings are about 6 inches away from the all the bulbs. I was wondering if i should get rid of a seedling or two and how i should make the decision of which ones to keep. any thoughts would really help. thanks in advance. here's some pics

oh i forgot to mention those plants are about 5 days old. i began the germination process seven days ago, and i know i don't have room for five plants in my closet, so some of them have to die... and i'm gonna have to be the one to kill them

at minimum you need 2500-3000 lumes per sqfoot. and remember that the lumens decrease as you raise the light from the plant. wouldnt kill any yet. keep them close together till you trans plant than move them into smaller square pots. after that i would flower all of them and determine sex than transplant the females and kill the males. you figure only half are going to be fem anyways. granted your first harvest won't be huge but you will beable to clone the best looking ones for next time. you could flower after the first couple leaf sets show with a some what decent harvst.

them ripples in your water bottle pots are going to be a pain in the ass to transplant, once those roots fill in your going to have to shake the shit out of them to get them out, or use scissors or blade but you risk some root damage. i made the same mistake thinking i was helping the enviroment. two liter bottles are the best or basically anything without those damn impressions.
