75 days veg, 64 days flowering so far, about another week or so till i chop off the top 1/3, then another 2 weeks for the bottom to fatten up

looks fabulous - well done start to finish and you're really lucky (or smart) that you waited so long to flower, bet you get a bigger yield by far. buds sure do look strong!!

i originally wanted to veg for a shorter period to have smaller plants seeing as i was flowering with a 250 hps but i had to delay on buying my hps for a while but yes, ill get more bud but its going to be a 2 part harvest, im chopping off the top colas in 9 -14 days and then the bottom will be left to fatten up

today is the 71st day of flowering, i took a quick snap of the trics at the tops of the plant, i gotta get my hands on a magnifier and check the trics b4 i cut the tops off but im hoping to cut em on 4:20

thanks for following along through my journal, the plant on the left is still growing damnit, lol, i guess its a good thing cuz its getting bigger and fatter but its probably not going to be ready by 4:20 and i wanna chop both tops togeather so i mite have to let em go longer...

well i dont think i will be cutting anything on 4:20, ill let em go 11 weeks flowering which is 4:22 then cut the tops, then a week later ill cut the bottoms

its been a long time so i took a buch of pics

i got a bit impatient and i have no weed or money to buy weed for 4:20 so i took a nice chunk of bud from my more mature plant near the top, ill dry it out quickly for tomorow and see how it smokes (the oven methode works great for quck bud testing)

the third plant i added into the flower room when it was a seedling looks like its starting to show sex and it looks like a male! take a look at the macro pic and tell me what ya guys/gals think

also for any of you that are also following along with my second grow ill be updating there as well in a little while

well im just ranting on now so ill shut up and let you guys/gals enjoy

so i have not cut down my babies
i didnt get any responses here but on another thread i was told that cuz my plant is mostly sativa and by its progress so far i have another 2-3 weeks left, so i added some nutes to my last two waterings and ill start flushing again next watering, i should be harvesting around may 6th
here are a few pics from today, 82 days flower, plants are aprox. 157 days old total

so it didnt turn out the way i thought, but it was my first grow so its ok, im learning
i messed up by not getting my flowering light soon enough so i ran out of space, i under guessed the flowering time so i cut nutes early, the result, the buds on my plant where mostly all very light popcorny buds, the buds where all mature but it apears that the plant started growing more buds after it got more nutes so the tips of the buds where all new fresh buds that werent mature yet. the trimmings i turned into cannabutter, the smaller buds i will turn into honey oil via butane extraction and the big buds i will cure and smoke.
my second grow ended short, out of 2 plants in DWC buckets one got root rot and i had to kill it, the other was a male
luckilly i had a third plant but i didnt have a DWC bucket to put it into so i kept it in a pot with hydroton and flooded it twice daily by hand, before my DWC plants got terminated i had put the third plant to flower, then tansplanted to a 3.5 gall DIY ebb and flow bucket --> that is the start of my third grow

a more powerfull light will give you denser buds
as far as flushing, i dont bother with it
i give them nutes til i chop, i do cure them tho
dont taste harsh or anything

the light i have is fine, as long as im growing plants under 2 feet or so, but since there was a delay on my hps my plants got over 4 feet tall before i started flowering
the plant in my third grow is doing much better, shorter, bushier and the buds are more packed togeather
i will flush this time as well but since i now know more about what signes i need to look for in a maturing plant ill be able to time much more acurately when to start the flush (im dont like the idea of chemicals in my weed)
