!First Grow!

Okay, my buddy had a few seeds that sprouted, and he offered me one..so i took it.
Its only about 3 or 4 inches tall right now.
It was in a tiny little pot, with dirt in it.
When i got it home i got a bigger pot, put some miracle grow in it, trasplanted the plant, and then wattered it.

NOW...
Im a experianced gardner, i have plenty of herbs and a garden.
Im going to be growing this plant inside the majority of the time.

I do not have very much money to spend on growing this...so this is my plan.

Im going to put the plant in my closet, with 2 fluorescent light bulbs(3 if im lucky, more if i can find lamps), with a oscillating fan.

Im not going to buy big hanging fluorescent light fixtures, because i dont have the money.
So im going to have as many fluorescent bulbs in the closet as i can.

Im going to put a oscillating fan in the closet so my plant wont have a tiny weak little stem.

Im going to put the plant in its veg cycle right now, im going to have the lights on it 23 hours a day.
When i want it to flower, i will do 12-12.

Now i know this isnt the best setup ever, but will it work?
Thanks.

It will work, but the buds will be fairly small and to get any sort of half decent crop you will probably have to veg it for at least 50 days,i say this as i used to grow with basic fluro tubes:blsmoke:

The biggest problem with fluros really is that the kind your talking of produce very little red light which is good for flowering,if your budget is really so tight that you cant even afford a 250watt hps then you can try halogen lamps, these give of red light and will improve your yield and are very cheap i.e. halogen security floodlights that you see in peoples gardens.

These can be picked up seriously cheaply and mixed with the fluros and will help a lot to improve a yield but i would seriously consider investing in a 250watt minimum hps,i use a 400watt dual spectrum grolux bulb and its great and didnt cost me very much and i can see massive differences already in the quality of my plants and i mean massive in comparison to cheap basic lighting, but if you really are stuck for cash use the halogens whilst you save up for some real lights, trust me they do make a lot of difference:blsmoke:

Thanks alot, red light huh...i will definetly pick up some halogen bulbs to go in there too. What about redlight bulbs?(maybe maybe not?)

When i have some more money i will definetly invest in some good lighting, until then, ill just have to try my best.

I wouldnt know about basic red light bulbs,i do know people who use halogen bulbs though and get good results, not as good as hps etc.,but smokable for sure, the main bug bear with the halogen bulbs is that they run out every 3-4 weeks, but they are only about 1-2 dollars each for a 500 watt.

Make sure if you do go halogen you buy at least the 300 watt bulbs and a 500 watt main unit, also if you want an extra bit of side growth you can use small 150 watt halogens pointed at the sides as they dont give of much heat and are fairly small.

I'm using E40 bulbs to grow and flower. Got 2 red 2700K, 1 white 5500K and, 1 blue/white 5000K. Are they good to use or not? Spent a bit of cash on these....:blsmoke:

I have seen many people using halogen bulbs and getting acceptable results so sorry dude but you are wrong, halogens are perfectly useable and must always be at least 12" away from the plants and will help improve his yield when he has no cash:blsmoke:
