First Grow

I really don't have a place to vent it too. It's in my bedroom and I don't own the house so I can't just put holes in the walls ya know?

I mean I could like run a long tube out the window? But for now I'm gonna leave it. If it gets bad or I start experiencing issues with it I'll take whatever actions are neccessary. I plan to be placing another 6 inch fan inside the actual grow tent

First is two of my 3 passive intakes (I have one connected to my central AC but I'm not saying that's necessary) second is my exhaust from my fan

Controlling and providing the optimal environment is just as important as pH, nutes and genetics.

Well I definitely have passive intake. I got those open as well. I don't have duct in them I just angled it in a v. Not alot of leakage with the lightsame out in the room so I think it will be good? Another fan in the tent and if I have issues with air quality or Temps I'll do some extra ducting.

I use the ducting for intake because those little rectangle mesh spots aren't really adequate with filtering enough things and tons of light comes out. I like the ducting cause I can put my own filters on them and not let any dust or any other unwanted shit into my tent. Also since I can bend it it remains pitch black since light doesn't travel any other way but straight.

How far are you running your exhaust duct?

Just out of the room. A lot of people vent out their window. Some into an attic. Mines just hung on the door frame then bent up and out a few feet since the ceilings in my hallway and living room are higher than the bedroom.

The room stays about 74 with the central AC on 72 and my tent is around 78.

Well here's the update for today. New growth on under branches. First full 5 point leaves. You can really see that discoloration I was talking about on the branches in one of the undergrowth pictures.

When should I start lst?

Forthe size tent you have circulating air back into a small/medium room should not be too much of a issue but if possible more exhausts ect would be advisable

Wait until about your 3rd node of 5 finger leaves and then slowly introduce lst ....... i was looking over one of your pictures and even with perlite it looks as if your soil is very compressed and wondered if your roots might struggle to move around, could just be the pic, what would you say is the soil very packed and heavy ?

I'm not sure.... don't know what to expect as far as soil. I used a mix of 3/4 FFOF and a 1/4 light warrior.

And today makes 11 days. I have put DE in there and it made my soil look different to me. I think it looks heavier with the DE.

Fair enough, shouldnt cause a problem then

Just see how it goes, hopefully the roots can move around freely .

Yea is that a decent mix for soil? Any suggestions on how to improve it?
