So hey guys, just wanted to say, merry Christmas, here are some pics of my girl, she's growing so well.
Order of pics below:
Pic 1 : Plant 1 (node flower growth)
Pic 2 : Plant 1 (cola top view)
Pic 3 : Plant 1 (Plant size stretch)
Pic 4 : Plant 1 (cola growth(
I have plans for my next grow which includes another 150w of hps and mh lighting. We are doubling the amount of lumens from 32000 lumens to about 60000 lumens in the next grow, but we will be adding a few more plants. Instead of one lovely lady, I'm going to get good genetics seeds from a reputable geneticist and grow some power green.
I'll also be doing some DIYing on the grow cab, which will include a new custom design reflective interior reflection, and installation of intake fans, to create active intake, as well as adding two more outtake fans to increase air flow, as the increased heat will need to be expelled, which means more airflow is needed.
I'll cover the grow cab floor with tarp to keep moisture off the wooden surface as it can create mold and cause issues later in the grow stage.
I will be making a DIY grow fixture for the next grow, and I may try some vertical growing this next time around.

Your attempts at indoor have inspired me and I will also attempt it soon. I will build my own box and my own stuff. Lighting and extraction, etc.
Just have to plan properly !

Hey guys,
Here is an update on my grow.
So I've been fighting these aphids since the start of flowering and it a a pain in the ass!!! These little nuggets multiply so rapidly that if you even leave two of them, they create new colonies of 10s and hundreds eventually!
I pick them off my leaves because I don't want to spray my girl while she's in flowering. But apparently 1tsp oil, 1tsp Dish soap and 1/2tsp bicarbonate of soda with 1gallon water in a spray bottle does the trick. But do it in veg!

They really are starting to fatten up!

Can't wait to get to harvest and try this Sativa dominant (presumed) girl out!!!
I'm thinking I'll do a video of my first taste after curing. I'll also show the process I took to getting to harvest and what I learnt on the way!!!

For those scared of trying soil, try mixing in a little vermicompost with your coco coir.
Coco does not offer a good substrate for bacteria and fungi on its own.
Adding the organic matter especially at the beginning when plants are young and ppm levels of the feed is low will boost both the growth and immune system of your plants.

Hey man, this was a water only grow, she was small and ended up with only about 25g in total from the one plant. It was only a 150w hps so I wasn't expecting much.
The electricity was about R200extra a month to run the whole setup.
Will be starting a journal soon on my new light (400w hps) so stay tuned, just needed to sort out some personal stuff.
I know this thread wasn't finished all the way, but I've learnt a lot and will be consistent on my next one.

Just sorting out a new grow room, I'm going to have to build it and it's probably going to take a month or two because I'm going to do it right this time.
Going to be able to fit 4 large or 6 medium sized plants with two 400w hps lights.
Just need to grab all the materials and draw up plans. I think I'm going to create a thread and you guys can follow it all the way through the build up until the end of the grow.
