First indoor grow - Blue Mammoth Auto

First try at growing a plant in doors. Yes I know my setup is pretty shitty but I will get a tent and possibly a better light than my current Mars Hydro LED 300W if it doesn't work well for me but so far so good.

Anyway I am starting this thread a little late as I have kinda been testing the waters and figuring out what I am actually doing before showing everyone.

So here we go. The Blue Mammoth was put into soil on 30/03/17 and it is now 17/04/17 so I am starting off on day 18 with this Journal.

About my grow: I am running this plant under a Mars Hydro 300W LED which I purchased from ebay. The light cycle I am using is 18 ON 6 OFF (18/6). My nutrients I am using are GreenDream A & B which were recommended to me from my Hydro store. The walls are lined with aluminium foil until my next grow where I will upgrade all of my grow setup accordingly. The soil is just some general potting mix I had sitting in the yard and then ontop of that there is a small layer of sugar cane or something which I cannot remember the name of lol, but it just helps to retain some moisture in the soil. All this crammed into a built in wardrobe

DAY 18-

So far this grow has been great and I haven't encountered any issues apart from it being my first time using nutrients and inducing a small amount of nutrient burn on a few leaves but nothing major and I am holding off on nutes for now until the plant is a little bigger!

DAY 22-

Photo was taken a little into the dark period which explains why the plant looks a little worn out and tired. But it is starting to grow very fast I am impressed, just waiting to start nutes which should be in the next week or so if all goes to plan and the plant looks up to it!

DAY 25-

Things are looking great now and have started a little LST on the lower nodes. I am feeding nutrients now and no signs or nutrient burn. Surprising that the small pot I am using is allowing the plant to keep getting bigger and bigger!

DAY 27-

Preflowers are showing, I have adjusted light correctly as I think it was a bit low (the leaves on the top cola look a little wilted/burned which caused me to think this. So I have move light to 12" above canopy of plant. Today I just watered with only pH'd water with no nutes, I did this to help the plant use up the rest of the veg nutrients and then flush out any excess so that the roots are ready for their flowering nutrients next water. Does anyone think they can estimate what this plant is gonna yield? I know it's gonna be ridiculously low because of pot size and the grow space. This is my first ever indoor grow so wasnt bothered by getting HUGE yields first time. I wanted to make sure I know what I'm doing first time around which means I had to sacrifice yield and size etc.

DAY 33-

Plant is still going strong, flowers developing with no issues. Plant has just recovered from a little accident where I overwatered (stupid mistake) which is why the few top leaves are clawing like that. Going to start inducing the Bloom nutrients and work the Veg nutrients out. The plant is getting a little big to keep bringing out for photos under natural light so you will have to deal with blurple for now lol.

Looks great! It will yield just fine and that's enough light for 1 good auto..

Next grow up your pot size to 3 or 5 gallon. You'll yield much more and won't have watering issues.

thanks for the feedback mate, I will definitely make some big changes for my next grow when I actually know what I'm doing and possibly 2 plants instead of 1 and may update my lighting but depends on the electricity bill for the time being. How much do you estimate this grow will yield?

I was thinking around 3/4 ounce to 1 ounce or so would be your yield..... I just did a small grow in a 1 gallon pot with 150 watt hps. Got 1.5 ounces of great bud.

You pretty much need 1 mars 300 for each plant. Check out Viparspetra led. Better pricing. Good results.

Keep up the good work and don't overthink it. Autos pretty much grow themselves.

You need to LST that thing or you won't get much at all with that little light.
bigger pot needs a bigger pot.

Everything is going smoothly. Hopefully the buds start getting big soon!! I can't wait
