First Indoor Grow cfl+hps

its official.. 400w IS TO HOT for my tent 250w bulb is on the way...

9 fans and its tough to even keep it at 85F-90F... so hopefully the 250w will help.. theres nothing else i can do.. spent too much on fans and whatnot..

is this the right decision? someone back me up here

really man? i got a 600 comin any day now. the open window thing didnt work?

the window is open all day with a fan blowing directly into the tent but its all the way on the other side of the room... that means the closet door stays open etc... i need to be able to contain the heat and shut the closet door so my room doesn't glow every day..
plus my plants are just hating it.. theyre turning into just sticks hopefully they make it in time for 250w bulb

dont be insulted by this but.........you know you need a 250 ballast as well as a bulb right? that 400w ballast will not run a 250

really? you should keep the 400 and deal with the problem

you need an aircooled hood

yeah im tryin to return that 400w hps setup.. i threw the cfl's in there its still pretty hot.. so i think the aircooled hood would be the only way to go.. but for now ill keep the cfl's goin..

400w burned my plants bad.. 3 out of 4 are all twigs.. only the gf kush has any laves now.. even with just 3X60w cfl's and 1 23w cfl its still 85 constantly.. and i already have to many fans in there so im forced to keep it the way it is
