First indoor grow w/ LED

Hey ya'll figured I would start this thread now. I have done some outdoor growing this is my first indoor. I spent the last two days getting my setup and equipment ready to go, here is what I am working with:
1 ufo 90 watt LED
5 45 watt rect LED
500 CFM fan
carbon filter (idk the rating but it was like 700 cfm)
2x4x5 grow tent
simple office fan for intake
timer
one thermometer (at the floor)
one thermometer (at the plant height)
Fox farm soil
general organics nutes

I also have a 600 watt HPS with a good hood that I dont think i am going to use for this grow. My grow tent has been a little hot for my liking (the coldest it got was 71 this morning and the hottest was 84! yesterday) I have been running my ac in at 60 in my room and blowing the air into my closest to try and keep it cool.

I have the fan atop the grow tent then ran duct into one side for the exhaust, the exhaust duct runs over the top and then into the CF. I wrapped the duct in insulation and a blanket( the red blob on top the closet).

Right now I am running the one 90 watt ufo and two 45 watt leds. I will add another two 45 watt led at flower.

Now for the uncertain parts:

right now I have one ak47 plant that was a gift ( im guessing its a week old). It looks ok, it had some yellow lower leafs when I got it that I removed but now the new lowest leafs are looking yellow?? Im hoping its just stress from the 15 minute drive.IDk what type of soil it is in but it looked shitty so I added some fox farm on top and watered with a dilute nute.

i also have started some seeds from seed: 4 headband, 4 og kush, and three seeds I got off my outdoor grow from an early flowering herm. I dont know if i will grow these, prob only if the look real strong in a few days

I am planning on going to canada and getting some seeds(hopefully without getting deported) I tried using a gift card online but couldnt find one that was accepted outside the USA: for the first grow I want to run dutch passion think different, and also was going to grab some easy ryder and a one non auto strain.

My plan is to run a SCROG with the one ak 47 and the think different, I know ak isnt auto but I am just experimenting now. I want to take clones of both and then use the clones to set up a perp grow.

I wont be able to post for a few days but I plan on updating every few days. :leaf::leaf:

That second lady is under moisture stress, in need of feeding and a much larger container.. She also looks too hot. Try you best when they are small to keep temps < 81.. just my two cents.

hey all just got back from a little R and R. Gonna go to canada tomorrow and get those think different auto fems and some other seeds. The ak is looking better after a light grow feeding, the bag seeds are growing at different rates I think I may keep one of the seeds from my previous grow and one head band. 000_0012[1].jpg000_0006[1].jpg000_0006[1].jpg

Sorry for the double image. Ill let you know if I make it back tomorrow successfully

ha I ended up delaying the trip, gonna take my gf on a little vacation in a week or so and just grab them then. I have been researching but havent found a clear answer: should I keep the seeds from the hermies or get rid of them? some research says the seeds are likely to be female but I also found people saying the seeds are junk because they are likely to carry the hermie gene.

In other news: gonna transplant the ak in a day or so, and my temp has been doing better with hi:78 and low 73.

Gonna change the setup around today, put the carbon filter inside the tent, add a circulation fan, add two more LED on the sides for extra growth, and transplant the AK and head band and one of the seeds from the hermie.

hey sorry been slacking. I transplanted into 3 gallon smart grow pots and now they are really entering veg. i had to top two of the herms because they were really outpacing the other plants. Ill upload some pics later today

Hey so the ak showing some curly leaves Im thinking from the transplant and slight under watering.000_0002[1].jpg I am using fox farm 6-4-4 vegatative growth at 1/4 strength once every four days and happy frog potting soil, so I don't think any nut deficiencies should be a problem yet.

the plants that came from the herm seeds are exploding, i had to top two of them so the others could catch up, I hope they arent growing fast just bc they are male. 000_0007[1].jpg Kind of hard to see from the picture but the herm seedlings on the left and the lower nodes are really growing fast.

quick view of the tent from the top: 000_0001[1].jpg The center light is the 90w led and then four 45 watt for a total of 180 watt led. the carbon filter is on the top left (wrapped in green).

So I ll be updating about once a week as they are in veg for about another month . Then setting up the screen for SCROG and flower!
