Yeah my plants are doing well except for four that I over nuted, I flushed and transplanted then I put them directly under some cfl's they are yellow as hell and their stems are a deep purple, they don't seem to be doing very well, so im afraid I'm going to loose the four right off bat, I'm hoping that they will grow new growth and the yellowing will be no big deal, eventually I will just pinch the yellow off if they make it that far. but it still leaves me with 14 healthy plants,

I'm still counting on at least six girls, what do you think the odds are out of 14?

6 seems like a safe bet to me.......... Small update I watered last night with full strength nutes and focused more light on the larger plants, they seem to be stalled with growth right now, they are nice and bushy though. I'm starting to see some kind of very very small preflowers. Both plants are at about node 6. I had to water with tap water last night without being able to pH adjust. I do have a Brita filter now, but I'm no sure how great it really works on filtering PPM. We'll see in about 12 hours when I'm home from work. Updates to come then.

Day 35... the plants are chuggin' along. Drinkin' water like no tomorrow, the big guys. They are so very bushy! Nice and happy in my opinion... I just hope their females! Calyxes are starting to form and there are very small little preflowers starting to emerge from them, no idea what sex yet though. Their about 9 and 10 inches tall respectively. The smaller ones have very tight node spacing thus far and are just recently recovering from being rootbound in 16 oz. party cups for way too long.

Day 37 in 20 minutes....

Here are some updated pics right after a heavy foliar feeding. After being rootbound for 1.5-2 weeks the small Dutch Dragons (day 32) are finally starting to grow. They have a long way to go to catch up the fast growing HxMW sativas though. The FIMed plant is finally starting to grow after being slowed down a few days. I'm not sure that I liked FIMing yet... we'll see how it looks in a week compared to the other plant. Both plants are coming along nicely with absolutely zero problems (crosses fingers) and boy are they starting to stink! No smell outside of the grow room yet though. Let's get to the pictures............

Just put all 4 plants into flowering today. Concerned about high grow temps (100) with lights on and door shut. Bought about $30.00 worth of pH test equipment to find that my water is just about the perfect pH for marijuana, excited about that. Installed some panda film; kind of a shoddy job. I also purchased some Tiger Bloom, I'll start ferting with this once the plants start showing sex. To combat the high grow temps, I've made my cycle from 3pm to 3am lights on so that way I'll be able to come home around 5 and open the door for the night.

I'm currently feeding them Grow Big but switching to Tiger Bloom when I find sex. The two larger ones are about 15" and 17" tall at this point. The other 2 are about 5".

Just purchased 2.5cu ft. of Metro Mix to use for clones. First day of 12/12 completes in 1 hour. I'm going to check on it and if there were any major changes I'll do a pic update. All plants are now day 1 flowering though, how exciting! -d.oz

Well... here we are at day 3 of flowering. I'm itching to switch over to Tiger Bloom but obviously I have to wait and see if I have any females. One of the plants is showing some kind of sex around the calyx but I think it's still to early to tell what it is. They're getting fairly large now, upwards of about 20". I'm expecting the 2 Maui Waui's to finish off around 3 feet, assuming they end up being female. I'm almost hoping I get one male so I'm able to transplant the Dutch Dragons into 3 gallon pots with the extra room. The smell is very nice and permeates throughout my apartment during the light cycle when the door is open. I'll be glad when the sex shows so I can start getting some clones going and really beef up my stock. I'll probably put 8-10 clones in at a time and start them right off at 12/12 once I sex and finish up this grow. Here are the new pics....

No I haven't had any extra progress. All I'm seeing is this tiny little nub poking out of the calyx area. Not enough to make an ID yet but I can't wait! Will keep everyone posted..............

Exciting news today!!! I did a thorough review of all 4 of my plants and ALL of them are showing female flowers. The forth one is developing a little slower but I'm fairly certain I'm seeing some small female flowers -- however I don't know for sure. I'll wait a day or two before confirming. Whether or not they will be hermies is yet to be determined, I doubt it. I am new to growing however I have read many an article containing info on flowers and I am 99% positive that all of them are females. I will of course, follow up with more advanced pictures, but all of them have the "pitchfork" extruding from the node, 2 of them have true white pistils.

Now for the not so exciting news.... nute burn is starting to show on the very bottom sets of leaves of both of the sativas, but not on the indicas with the same concentration.... I did 1 TBSP of FoxFarm Tiger Bloom per gallon of water for nutes, similar to the recommended dosage on the bottle. Should I flush immediately or continue on with the grow? This was the first time using this nute during my grow! Grrr............

Any comments and/or help are much appreciated. I'm going to repost this message into Indoor Growing for some additional feedback.

Pic 1 is a confirmed female (on my end) of plant 1.

Pic 2 is a confirmed female of plant 2.

Pic 3 is a confirmed female of plant 3.

Pic 4 is a picture of my camera shy Dutch Dragons. I'm going to have to find a way to fit 4 3 gallon pots in my grow room because I really wanna transplant these girls to more soil. I have this unopened bag of Promix I've been waiting to dive into!

Pic 5 is the newly developing nute burn :( Should I expect to start seeing this on other leaves soon?

Thanks and never stop smoking! :joint:

The last plant was definitely male. I could see the "ball on a stick"! Needless to say, it's services are no longer needed. I did a hell of a lot of trimming of the bottom 1/3 of growth on the sativas yesterday. Hacked off all the large fan leaves blocking bud sites and the dying leaves of my nute burn problem. I flushed all of the plants and transplanted the 2 dutch dragons into 3 gallon pots. I'll be taking clones shortly, as soon as I can make it over to my local hydro shop to purchase Olivia's cloning gel. Today is day 8 of flowering and plants are about to enter their night cycle. Starting to see the bud sites pop up all over, it's kinda neat. Updates tomorrow.

Flowering: Day 9.

My tall sativa is getting taller, as you can see from the pictures. The budsites are beginning to show, but the hairs are slower to emerge. They're all very small yet.

My 2 Dutchesses are improving greatly after the transplant. They are getting taller yet still staying bushy, which I'm lovin'! They are also sprouting a few white hairs here and there.

All the plants overcame the nuteburn after a quick flush and some TLC. As you can see, I have removed the male plant (my only topped plant ) from the bunch.

Here we are.......................

Hey Donnnieosmond,Nice job.I read your whole post and you are doing better than most on there first time in a cab.How much fresh air intake do you have?Fresh air coming in from outside the cab will be cooler air and help bring down the cab temps.you said you are using purify water. That water dosent have any cal or mag in it.You may want to use some cal-mag plus in your water. The plant uses up alot cal and mag in flowering. When I grow in soil I check the run off water to see what the ppms and PH is,mostly the PH.But at anytime if you are having problems flush them out,and after the soil drys water with nuts like you are doing.Nice job there you are learning alot fast. PEACE

Day 16 flowering:

Thanks a lot for the input guys. Always glad to see more than 1 or 2 people are watching my grow. Here are the newest pics.... my 1 sativa is either a male or hasn't shown sex yet. I'm not really sure. It's been a while since I've started flowering. Both of the Indicas are female and they are lookin' great. Here's some pics.

And just a few more............ The sativa is slightly over 2 feet. All 3 of the plants have been trimmed of the larger fan leaves to prevent light from being blocked from the budsites, along with the lower 1/3 of foliage from the sativa.

More updates in a few days. The clones should have rooted by then as well. They are on day 4 or 5 right now and are still nice and upright. So I'm expecting all of them to take root (6).

Flowering, day 20:

The plants are starting to look really cool. The skunky smell they had earlier is starting to fade a little bit and the smell is a little more manageable (for now).

Clones are still in progress.

As you can see, I've removed the last Hawaii Maui Waui plant from my grow. It was very stretched and spindly and hadn't shown sex after 3 weeks of flowering, so I had had enough of it. That'll teach me to grow outdoor plants indoors.

Here are 5 pics for you of my 2 dutchesses.............

Thanks ngt. Any yield predictions for the plants? I'd like 2 oz. dried from each is that possible in my current conditions?
