Here is where I'm at: Day 13 in solo cups. Right now they are in the TLO "Mellow" soil, the Revs 2.1 soil mix says not to use on seelings or young clones because it may be too much for them. I would like to transfer these to a 1 gallon pot in a manure base/2.1 soil with some earthworm castings. Do these look old enough?

Pangioti, enjoy the organic ride! Depends, how long has your soil cooked for? I would transplant to 1 gallons of the base mix for 3 weeks and then transfer to the final pot of the organic mix you have.

Thank you, I bought the soil pre-cooked so it should be ready to go.

They are looking great! Have you pulled one out of a cup to see what the roots are doing? I use clear solo cups so I can see the roots and know when to up pot them. I feel once the roots start to spin around the pot/cup, they have a harder time continuing outward through the soil after transplant.

Put a buffer layer of starter soil over the other soil when you transplant..

Clear solo cups.... hell yeah. That makes sense about the roots swirling, it's been amazing watching how fast they have taken off, can't wait to see the growth when they get more nutritious soil!

You can drop the clear cup into a red one if you feel it is needed. I just use clear and move the plant to a half gallon milk jug as soon as I see a root. When I see a root in the milk jug, I put the plant into the grow bag for the rest of it's life.
