hi there like minded ppl,great site must say,have a little question can i use normal houshold halogen stripe lighting, i only have the 1 plant,started out as a learning thing but with the help of this site is turning into the holy grail, ive even managed to clone it thanks to you pp,at the moment im useing natural light wen possable and a 20 wat cf wen not,but you have to learn somewhere,

Welcome to the forum. Hope its female and glad to see you cloned it. If I had done that to start with it probably would have saved me about six months. You will need better lighting to get a good yield. Halogen bulbs put out a lot of heat. VV

nice of you to reply victor,male or fem its been neat learning and im sure i will smoke it either way lol yer i think i will get a 150 wat cf and hood as i dont want to grow hundreds
hope your plants make up for your fist attempt

nice to actualy speak to some of you people, i read as many posts as i can , not that i can contribute alot, but everything i have learned is because of you guys, and the video mans video is awessome even if your not growing hydroponics,out of curiosity do any of you guys name your plants and do you think music helps them
ive read that chatting to plants works also lol

My brother plays Chopin and Strauss CD's for his plants and swears it helps develop better root systems and recover quicker when LST'ing. I have not tried it, though, since my exhaust fans are loud.

Don't know if chatting works, but I'm sure they'd like the carbon dioxide from your breath.

talking to your plants is always good, nice breaths of c02 all over them

and i hear that death metal is the only music that shows it stimulates plant growth (according to a tv show, mythbusters)... but just take that as you want to
