No offense but until you hit the 400watt+ range hps lamps are pretty damn inefficient. They will get you along fine for a few grows, but a 400watt would penetrate much deeper and provide more lumens for a similar wattage of the two 150s.
Im new to the led scene but Vero just came out with their gen 7 cob light. I'm replacing my 400 watt hps with 4 of these little blazers.
Yeah I'm regretting my lighting choice but ill have more money soon to get something better. Still not sure if LED is the way to go tho. Everything I read makes it sound as tho you don't get as good of quality when using LED. Can't we figure this out.?

Not sure what threads you've been reading, but everything I read says the leds give less yield but better thrichome coverage. That is the white cob leds, not the targeted spectrum blurple leds.
Hey man, I've seen people pull off full grows with a basic t5 lighting setup. It's all about maximizing your environment. You could have great lights but if all other factors are off it won't matter.
There are many threads here, the search button is your friend. It's amazing the results people can get with certain set ups. Good luck and keep us updated!
If it makes you feel any better I've changed between hps, mh, led, and t5 a ton. I think it's possible to grow good weed under any of these as long as you know what you got and use it correctly

I would finish with the lights you have, then if you are still gonna grow in the tent consider getting a LEC or some type of Cob LED. If you go with an HPS you will be fighting the heat, which sucks. IMO the best light for yield as well as resin production is the LEC's hands down. I run some 630's in one of my rooms, and my plants love them.
