Grow Footprint: 2.5'Dx4'Wx7'H
Grow Light: Citizen COB LED 400W
Strain: AK47 Xtrm Clone (x4); Unknown Strain Clone (x2); White Widow (x1 turned out to be an AUTO... oops)
Nutes: Fox Farm Grow Big/ Fox Farm Tiger Bloom

wayyyy late-to-start grow journal...

Technically second grow... first indoor grow bit the dust when I ran into issues with humidity in my basement in over the summer and decided flowering would be a disaster in 90+% humidity. I had a few plants that I took clones from, one being an AK47 Xtrm plant that didn't finish due to a combination of tossing it outside too late and bud rot. The other 2 plants could be anything.. blue dream CBD, Hollands hope, frisian dew... not sure. :) Those were strictly outdoor plants that I basically stuck outside and forgot about them until harvest time...

AK47 Xtrm are in 5 gallon smart pots
"Mystery" strain just tossed into ~2 gallon containers I had left over from blueberry plants.
White Widow is in a tiny container.. turned out to be an auto that started flowering right after I topped it.. opps. Keeping it around just for kicks.

10-27: First shot... 2-3 weeks in after they were firmly rooted and transplanted:20171027_204345.jpg

11-02: Just starting to pack on some foliage... You can see the tiny WW Auto up front that started to flower. Mystery strain is far right and behind the yellow sticky pad.

11-08: Coming along nicely.... AK47s were really doing well, Mystery strain... not so much.

11-27: Footprint nearly filled out. I'd guess about a week into flower and getting a bit of stretch.. Tiny WW Auto doing its thing :).

Built A scrog screen, not sure its that necessary as along I've been training and pulling these things every which way, but at this point I figured I'd just toss it in there as it would allow me greater control and I'd be able to really direct/maximize growth..

12-02: SCROG screen installed...

12-03: Took some time to continue to cleanup the undergrowth a bit...Doh... should have done this BEFORE tossing the screen in...

12-03: Plants recovering a bit from the screen and me directing the flowers to occupy empty canopy space... Tucked the WW Auto in the bottom right. :) Not sure what I'm doing...but what the heck....20171203_123538.jpg

Environment issues... Was seeing Low temps of 58 to 60F with lights off, and since I am in the northeast this will only get worse as winter weather sets in with a basement grow. Normally in the mid to low 50s in the basement. Also seeing a 70+% RH when the lights went off. Not good. Tossed a 70 pint Dehumidifier in the grow room that does double duty as a heater as well as keeping the RH under 55%. Maybe in another week I'll be setting the dehumid to 50%, and then 45% a couple weeks after that.

Lights on Temp: 75-77F
Lights on Humidity: <= 55%

Lights off Temp: 63-65F
Lights off Humidity <=55%

Had a simple temp/humidity meter with a high/low recording, but found this a bit lacking, so I ordered a SensorPush to monitor exactly what was going on. Finding this to be indispensable....Only issue is the really crappy bluetooth range... I literally have to be within a couple feet to get data uploaded to my phone.

Here's a log showing the last week or so.. Interesting data point, you can see exactly the time where the reservoir filled up and the dehumid stopped working because I failed to empty it :( temp drop/spike in humidity. It's pretty well dialed in at this point.. I've got around a 10-12F difference in lights on/lights off temp, and humidity is more or less staying constant.

12-8:
Flower Day 20

Watered the two 2 gallon mystery plants on 12-7 and within a day had some leaves turn completely yellow. These two plants seems to be having a tough time all along.. not sure why.
Ocean Farm soil, Big Bloom 800-1000ppm, RO water Ph'd to between 6.0 and 6.2.
Used the same water on one of the other plants yesterday, no ill effects yet.

Flower day 24
Temps trending down... humidity trending up as outside temps in the NE start to impact my mid 1700s stone rubble basement. Had another spike caused by filled dehumidifier tank. Still mostly holding around the 50% humidity goAL for now.

12-22:
Flower day 33.
Still having issues with 1 of the clones in the middle.... turned yellow overnight. Maybe a ph issue, who knows. Tested runoff at 6.4, so not sure.

12-30:
Flower day 41. Not gaining much height. Thickening up though. Supposed to be an 56 day strain. One more light nute water then start flushing maybe... any thoughts

Organized and clean aspect, good for me. Several fans and No wiring polution on the assembly, really Nice. Without potentiometer, no dimming ok? Full power! Same optics? Lens or reflectors?

No dimming... may hook up pots if I use this to veg next grow. May just use t8s again.
No optics, but have reflectors here.. may try a couple. Really have to get a par meter.
Putting an led strip light system together now, adding another 450 watts.
