First time bubble hash is green?

HEY! just in time for St Patrick's day! Well, couple months away. Silver lining lol
Chlorophyll , just as a guess as bubble not my forte , not enough ice, too much water picking up chlorophyll ? something like that prolly.

Im guessing you mixed with a drill of some sort? Always do the first 2-3 washes by hand then bust out the drill and beat it up for all its got, change your water between washes!

I have stems and branches soaking in moon shine getting it ready for st. patty's day! oh yea peach shine turned green the natural way lol! It definatly wont get you high but it will get you drunk!
one shot of it clear gets ya a glow goin lol!
that bag hash is greener than keif hash! Its probably just gonna have a heavy taiste to it, im betting it will still be a good extraction!

I infer you wish to extract with ice and water, in which case I would break it up loosely with my fingers and freeze it to make the trichomes more brittle.
Add it to the ice water bath, and stir with a low shear paddle, or even a wooden spoon for small quantities.
You want to break up the material as little as possible to eliminate fines and ruptured cell walls.

Never had Green Lizard for St Paddy's, but have had some amber QWET tincture extracted with good 190 proof corn shine from a reflux still, that certainly got the job done. The alcohol rush cleared the way for what was to follow for sure....................

I have read this with interest as I just made my first batch last weekend. I think your question may have some legitimacy as I was working through 3 bags of different age product and the newest (just a couple months old) came out a bit green. Older stuff made nice yellow...and yes I used a variable speed drill to do my mixing. Been quite happy with the results of both the greenish and yellow though and look forward to the next time.

...a side benefit of last weekends activity was after first dumping and then sifting through the raw material prior to mixing it with the ice...was the yellow residue left in the bottom of my cookie sheet. Had quite a pile that I would scrap up and save. I later put it in my clay extruder (press) and made a couple disks that I shared with friends. Awesome.

Let your herb soak in the ice water for 10 minutes before hand. it was likely too dry and over worked.
Also having an 8 bag set helps bigtime. The 190 and 160 are very useful in catching contaminant and keeping it separate from your golden glands.

I use just a one speed drill with a mixer and let my weed and ice andd water all soak for about 5 mins then do a slow mix for 10 min onthe first rinse the a little bit faster the 2nd rinse and as fast as the drill can go on the 3rd rinse, i never had green bubble hash , i even use plants that just got done drying and always get nice full melt blond hash on all 3 rinses

Your agitating it wrong ...your basically blending it instead of agitating .....freezing first makes a huge diff IMO .....next time do it with a spoon by hand until you learn ....your green stuff will still get you high but taste might not be great ....GL
