Should be a good grow . I think your lights are alittle to far from you plants ,may make them stretch alittle . If you can keep the lights as close to the plants as you can 2 to 3 inches away. IF you can place your hand between the light and plant and does feel to warm to you , then you should be ok.

hey thanks to everyone for all your input... when I first got these clones I had my 300 watt CFLs 3inches frm the top of the plant and aftr a day the leaves started to turn yellow so I got scared n raised them.. but after all the input I lowered them frm 10inches to about 5 inches... now my question... should I trim the leaves on the plants? is it necessary?? what does trimming do?? and please explain how to choose what to trim... and how far along the branches do I cut? and how much of the plant should I trim?? n how often?? sorry its sooo much im just nervous and anxious for my first grow...

the only thing you trim is dead or dying leaves. With flouros you may wish to trim out lower growth if the plants stretched to much and the light isn't reaching that far down. Triming redirects nutrients to the actively growing tops. Some people trim out all the little "popcorn" buds too so that the main ones get bigger.
