First time grower.. Need to know what fertilizers to use.

Its pretty much my first grow and i read that i should use 20-20-20 for the seedling stage, 30-10-10 for the vegetative, and 5-20-5 for the flowering stage. But before i went out and bought those fertilizers i did a little more research online and found a few other different variations of the N-P-K ratio for all three stages. So i'm pretty much just asking what fertilizers should i use for which stage?

Thanks for the help in advance...

They are all pretty much the same. Can't go wrong with General Hydroponics Flora Nova series. Grow and Bloom. Don't bother with all the extras for your first grow. Keep it super simple.

Steer clear of General Hydroponics and Botanicare.

However, Roots Organic is Oregon based and family owned.

Yes, grow and bloom. You can basically buy any bottled nutrient company. They all do the same thing. Just keep it simple and only use Grow and Bloom your first Grow. If you wanna get fancy after a few good runs, then use a few additives if you wish.

Be an informed consumer, know where your money goes and who you are making rich off your back.

Start with Agent Orange.

Maybe you will care, maybe you will be apathetic.

That is your choice to make, informed or not.

Good luck with the grow!

So is there anything wrong with their product? Or are they just some rich conglomerate?
They were recently acquired.

Nothing wrong, I used them before they were optioned, but I will never, ever purchase a General Hydroponic product so long as they are in away related to Monsanto.

Make your own? Base ferts are about a dollar a pound in bulk.

Bayer/Monsanto sux for sure I know. I met a whole group of them in 2008, but I'm not using their herbicides or GMO seeds. They are cornering the mmj market now.

Talk with your wallet.

What would happen if everyone stopped buying General Hydroponcs or Bontanicare products?

Food for thought.

Yes, you can make your own organic nutrients, and I would highly recommend that. Go to your local farmer's market and talk to them. They will be more than glad to shed some light.
