I have never grown magic mushrooms so please excuse my ignorance.
I just registered today after reading these forums for a couple weeks and finally i have found a simple TEK instead of buying a "grow kit" as it seemed almost everyone on this forum had said not to in previous threads.
I am planning on following this TEK

But I have a few questions....
1. in the incubator (red in this TEK) can the jars sit on the the bottom of the incubator or do they have to be on top of something to avoid contact with the bottom of the top tote?
2. I bought two black totes, it says the incubator has to be covered with the blanket. Can i just put the lid on or does it have to be somewhat vented?
3. If i dont use all of my spore syringes in my first couple jars (so if i fuck it up i dont fuck up all of them the first time) can i just pull the syringe back a bit and use the rest a couple months later?
4. what do you guys use to measure the temp instead of buying one of those $100 laser guns? I have a hygrometer but im not sure if the wire is submersible (although it does get snow and rain on one of them i use for my house)
5. when i initiate pinning after they colonize, what do i do? that part was kinda confusing, do i just put them under my window inside my house in a tote? What if its cloudy a few days? Or is it just easier to put a CFL on a timer in a closet? If so how many watts of CFLs would you suggest?
6. I was going to use another black tote i bought as a fruiting chamber. How do you suggest i build it? I was going to cut the center out of the lid and hot glue greenhouse plastic in on it. Should I drill any vent holes? Besides misting, how can i keep it as humid as possible?
7. how long should the fruiting chamber be in the light a day? 12/12? and what spectrum of light
