No, not really. a 24"x24" tent is ok for one plant. But you need more height. You want at least 67-70" tall or taller. You are going to need about 12" at the bottom for a small pot, then your light at the highest level will be about 12" from the top. That only leaves you 24" of grow space, and since you don't want your light sitting right on the plants that leaves you with enough room for about a 12-18" plant.

Also, it's probably a super crappy light to begin with. Cheap lights are ok to start out with, but if you can afford a better light it would get you much better results.

I would buy all the components seperately, buy a good tent that is much taller. Buy a good fan and filter seperately. And then buy a better quality light.

This is a highly respected led company and should work for a tent that size: https://growerslights.com/collections/horticulture-lighting-group-quantum-board-led-kits/products/horticulture-lighting-group-135-watt-quantum-board-led-kit

Also depends on what you looking for hydro is hard work and small soil is easier and is most likly going to give you more results for first time then hydro. Also depents on how much effert you want to put in to it soil you can get away with a lot more fuckups then you can with hydro if you no what i mean but hydro. Other then that make sure you got a good light for the amount you want you got 1 plant and 400wt light you will get 400wt of plant and no more u got 400 wt and four plants you will most likly get 4x 100wt plant worth and nothing more. Also remember that tent size and light size is important you dont want a too powerful of light in a small as tent ex 1000wt hps in a 2x4x6 tent is bad. 400wt in a 2x4x6 tent can do good results.

I also agree with kerovan buy the kit sepretly not as a kit if it is a cheap kit theres problably a reason why hence a defect. Also another thing if your looking for high yields i recomend you watch this video may have to type it in you tube but he explains the relation between room size light size and all the good stuff you want to know its about an hour long so grab a pen and paper with some chips and sit back and pay attention.
