That all makes sense.

I've had experience in the past mixing my own soils, but it was always with the intention I'd be feeding them nutes, so this way seems easier.

If I'm understanding right, what y'all are basically doing, is what used to do for my outdoor vegtible gardens. We had a huge pile of manure composting, then we'd mix some other stuff in then top dress with chicken shit and pine needles. Always had big tomatoes and peppers!
Thats exactly what we're doing. I'd skip the pine needles lol but yeah man. Cannabis is an annual, you could grow it right along with your vegetables. Basil and rosemary actually make great companion plants for cannabis.

lavender as well.its supposed to ward off bud-worm laying moths.(I think maybe the basil does that too?)
You use basil in the event any mites or pests get in your room, they will be drawn to the basil first. They'll leave your cannabis alone and you can catch them on the basil before they become a problem. It's like your canary in the coal mine.

Not sure if it helps with bud worms. Good tip on the lavender!

Ok Mr. Rasta I have it set up on my Neville's Haze from Green House, suppose to be the Cat's meow of Sativas. I use a 25" screen instead of the larger 35" one. I hope I don't run out of head room. haha This is a 14 to 16 1/2 week Flower 90/10 Sativa Dominated.View attachment 3804684

DSCN4450.JPG WIN_20161231_13_56_26_Pro.jpg This was suppose to be a 14 week flowering, I harvest it yesterday, which was 59 days, just a little over 8 1/2 weeks. The tricks were 100% Milky, with a few burnt one's, so I went ahead and harvest her, I'll give you a final weight on January 12th, 2017

How ever I did use Kool Bloom, and Maxi Bloom on her, because I just didn't get the weight I was looking for, with Organic only water. And after I smoke some of the Blueberry, and Acauplco Gold, it was really harsh, but only down a month so, could just have been still a lot green. Bag weight 8.6 g.

8 1/2 weeks and she was done. She was suppose to be an 14 week plant, but as you can see the tricks were already starting to die.

No dude, that is milk. I put that on to keep mildew off, because my RH was a little high. About 70% whole milk and 30% water, and just spray her down. lol
