Hey all first time growing indoor done outside but nothing crazy
Lighting: 2 x 130 watt one 6700k one 2700k only got one light other one is in transit
Seeds are bagseed. Soil is just a organic based one from a Bunnings/hardware store with added perlite/vermiculite and lime
Plants are only 3 day from surfacing from soil still for a few things to buy eg digital thermostat and nuts but let me know what else I can buy to help the grow

Hi I'm growing in a pretty similar cupboard under 300w dual spec CFL ..
things I would suggest,
6" clip on fan (2speed) £10

Silver reflective Mylar roll (1.25-5m) £15

And when this ones finished I'm personally looking into fitting an air intake/outtake system via extraction fans . Could be something you could look into while yours are small .. mines in flowering and was rushed inside from out cus weathers shit lol

Youll need a carbon filter and extraction fan once flower starts. That white foam is good, but a flat surface would reflect light better. Also, you're going to run out of room relatively quickly with 4 big girls in there...

I'm also interested my next grow is going to be a 400w hps I think. But I'm also looking into energy consumption/yield of 2x 130w cfl 6400k over my 250w metal halide and hps set up. Just to see cost per yield/profit per light.
Money saved on elec is what I mean by profit. But that's how I'll work it out. Which was best for me.

If you want engergy saving go LED, proper ones. Not cfl.
A 250w MH will out veg two 130w cfls ad cost less in electricty

Really? You think 250MH is cheaper than 2x 130w cfl's to run. Ok wasn't expecting that. Maybe power output of light would beat the veg output yes. Totally agree now.i thought cfl's were cheap lol

No reason at all to use HID lighting in veg w a small grow... especially in a small space bc heat will b an issue...stick w the CFLs bro...my plants veg like champs under CFL if used properly...light placement is key..
