I'm going trout fishing tomorrow

 

And speaking of catching bass... Went fishing the day before and the day of the solar eclipse. Man I wish I had more pictures to put up but my phone went in the river and I've had my new one now for less than three whole days LOL. Funny story fell over backwards in the boat, had to bail 5 gallons plus, tossed and lost the smaller red combo you can see in a picture from a previous post, had to hook the net off the bottom... Had quite a trip I surely can say! Hell also broke the tip of the tiny little ultralight rig in that same picture... Ended up catching four more the same size both large and small mouths were absolutely going nuts I fought more fish then I caught they were spitting lures left and right I couldn't believe it they were just absolutely insane. Sadly no sign of Pike but it was still a fun trip

 

There's nothing in the world that pisses me off more than whe. Someone cancels fishing plans.

Especially when it's because of some Whiney Wife.

Solo fishing and hopefully my karma nets me a nice big brown.

It sucks they don't put coho in the lake right by me anymore. They went back to putting extra nook babies in now which is cool, I've been getting them, but it's just about time to start fighting them nooks down on the river. Way funner than by boat. But i do like catching them kings by boat too don't get me wrong. Out in the ocean and up in the delta and tributaries.

The fight is not even close to being the same. Same with fighting a sturgeon by boat vs. the bank.

 

You also don't have a whiny wife, so you could get your ass up to Tahoe

 

There is only one thing flawed with that. Yes, I'm not married anymore, kids are older. Now it's the grow and the dogs though. So hard to leave for the night. It sucks.

 

Yeah that's the truth. The grow is a harsh mistress. You could take the dogs but you can't take the grow, damn

 

I camped out on some lakes twice this summer. Way more than the last 5 yrs combined. It's really complicated.

 

And, i got three big dogs. Not practical. Sucks. Wish i could take them all everywhere.

We have 4 big dogs and a building landscape business. Haven't had a weekend to just camp out in a couple years.
