Flooding at Biblical proportions last night in Puna!

I knew that the winter weather was coming soon as the feds picked up their flying ops this past week. During the entire summer maybe once a week you'd see these pricks in the sky. But his past week everyday was the norm.

About one month ago with the first rains of winter here. I lost several plants. The one that broke my heart was my 13 ft Landrace THai. It had been budding for about a month when it completely snapped in half!!! Well, the way I am, I quickly gathered up the fallen mess. Normally it would have been straight to the compost bin. But something told me to check it out before tossing it. Well to make a long story short. I went thru it all and pulled out what I thought was usable bud. This immature bud was better than a lot of my fully matured stash?
Was this my imagination, or was it because I normally smoke Indica, and switching over to this sativa really was enjoyable? The plan was to use it for "canna butter", and general cooking. But instead I had to clean a lot of it for smoking purposes! It was truly a blessing in disguise.
Okay, besides this landrace, I also lost a 9ft. "Black Jack" during this period. I have taken a reak hit this year.

So as I ventured out into my property in the falling rain I noticed major flooding all around me. Floods in places I never seen before. So you can imagine I was worried sick beyond words. But to my surprise, my SOG ssurvived the night of heavy rains, and heavy winds. Armed with several leashes(surfboard leashes) I moved into position to get a closer look at possible damage. All my girls survived the night! But would they make it thru another hard day of rains & wind? Only 'Mother Nature' knows for sure. But I'm not betting on it! All three of these tall ladies have "pukas" in all their main stems for "bore weevils" or whatever you call these drilling little pricks!
I gotta tell you folks, these three sativa are so beautiful ladies. I can see major weight if they get to finish!

I couldn't take pics gang, rain so intense I'm afraid I'd fuck up camera! I will when it lets up later.

One thing is good from this rain. My catchment is completely full. Actually major run off from it already!
