Wtf is there idea of low THC levels and how the hell would they be able to control that. What are they gonna test every strain and then every hybrid and every one of the hundreds of strains that come out a week. Boo to low THC im a pain management patient and with my mmj i dont even really need to take my oxycodone..... They have no problem with giving me ninety mgs of painkillers every day.
But look out for that nug it has too much of the good medicine in there that helps my back.
They amended the bill to allow up to 15% thc

What is the highest grade dank checking out at in nor cal outdoor On average Iike 18%. I read an article that Australia has the most potent At 22.something% I believe. Don't know if this is true. I guess 15% isnt that low considering the inconsistency down here on high grade. If your buying off the street.
But I would like to send a nug that i grow in to have it analyzed.

Where did you get that info, I'd be interested in reading it?
Sorry for the late response. Idk how your reply got away from me.

FLCAN notified me with this email:

When We Speak the Truth,
People Listen

Dear FLCAN Supporter,

This note is a follow up to address the concerns of those who have been with us as we spoke against SB 7066.

There has been a strike-all amendment added that, with its amendments, makes SB 7066 a good bill.

As amended, SB 7066 allows 15% THC for patients with qualifying conditions. They will be able to buy bud, take it home and use it. It is not the be-all end-all, but it is a fine clinical cannabis bill, as amended.

Click here to send your message of support right now.

In order for SB 7066 to become law, it must be heard, rather than TP’d (temporarily postponed), every day this week. Today, it is on it’s second reading and may be debated in the Senate. If it isn’t heard on third reading tomorrow, the bill will fail. If by Thursday, it is heard and passed in the House with no new amendments, then on Friday, SB 7066 could be headed to the Governor’s desk.
Today, Florida Cannabis Action Network is walking the halls of the legislature doing our part to ensure this bill passes. Please, do what you CAN to help by contacting your lawmakers.

Send a message to your legislators, to the Governor and Lieutenant Governor, telling them to pass SB 7066 with its amendments.

Thank you for your continued support. Please ask a friend to add their voice and then tell another.

Ethel Rowland
Legislative Director

My question is how do you regulate that. That requires a lot of testing and one nug may be more potent than another off of the same plant. IMO though, Shitty weed is even good in a vaporizer lol

Yea well regulating mmj is the biggest obstacle in legalization.
I agree though to many different hybrids in all parts of the world and a lot of growers. How do they get the average that %. I gotta dig that article up i think it was High Times I forget. To many dabs today

I read the bill ... it does not allow for 15% THC...this is from the last amendment in April:

“Low-THC cannabis” means a plant of the genus
161 Cannabis, the dried flowers of which contain 0.8 percent or less
162 of tetrahydrocannabinol and more than 10 percent of cannabidiol
163 weight for weight"
.

Also... it died on the floor, never voted on.

It's been a while since I've been active in the forums, mostly due to the fact that I stopped growing. However, I have taken up a new cause. There are quite a few initiative petitions currently with FL Division of Elections approved format. The one in particular that I am apart of is called Florida Organization of Reform (F.O.R.), however, we do tell everyone to sign every approved cannabis petition. The following link will take you to the FL Division of Elections website initiative petitions list: http://dos.elections.myflorida.com/initiatives/

FOR's petition is Cannabis as a Dietary Supplement for Personal and Medical Use; Funding for Teacher Salaries.
It would allow up to 4 oz possession and 10 flowering plants. If you wanted to start a business there is a 10% sales tax that is collected; of that 10% all of it goes to teacher's salaries in the State of FL. Of that 10% only 25% can be used for teacher new hires; effectively raising the existing teacher's salaries with 75% of that sales tax. I don't know if any of you are aware but teacher salaries in the State of FL are among some of the lowest in the nation. There are also protections in the petition against asset forfeiture and for parents, DCF (Department of Children & Family) cannot remove a child simply because they possess cannabis in the house (possession or cultivation). It also allows for edibles (including oils and concentrates)

If you would like a copy of the FOR's petition it can be found by searching through the link provided above or directly with the link following: http://www.communitypac.us/uploads/3/7/3/4/37346047/approved_form_(3).pdf

And if you're interested in volunteering email: [email protected]

It's a great organization with an even better cause. I hope some or all of you will join us. I completely understand why some of you cannot, but we will carry on with you in spirit.

I respect your opinion, however, it is a real possibility to get this petition on the 2016 ballot. I would encourage you to at least sign a petition. If nothing else you will help get the initiative petition one closer to the ballot.

Sounds like your not far from me , I'm in Port Richey . What do you think about the new push to get MM legal next year , sounds like they changed a few things , and still no home growing allowed , kind of sucks , sometimes I think the people behind the push work for the drug company's ?
Im in NPR my self . extremely happy to come across this forum . I look forward to the push and hopefully this push will be enough this time!
