Flowering Questions????

hey my plant is just about 5 weeks into flowering and i had a couple questions. I cant really make out acutal buds on my plant but its covered in white hairs that are starting to turn a pinkish red color. Do the buds grow at the very end? what color should the hairs be when its time to harvest?

usually you harvest based on trichome color and not pistil / hair color

Be patient.... You have a ways to go before major bud development. What kind of light are you using?

Also depends on the type and strain being grown too. Certain Indicas flower in 7-8 weeks, while some Sativas will take as much as 16 weeks to flower.

No. That's not an indicator of when to harvest. Trichome development and color are.

thats when i harvest and my stuff is super dank,trics work also the hairs work to

I am not sure of the strain of my plant. I have one plant and i am using four 100Watt CFL's. What are the trichomes? I tried putting up pics but it wasnt working. ill post some later.
