Flushing in Coco

Hey fellas,

How soon do you start flushing in coco?

I have done three grows in 7 gallon fabric pots where I only water 1 maybe 2 times per week depending on the strain.

I start flushing 2 weeks before harvest but find that by the time they're ready to pull, they are not fully flushed and still lots of green all over.

Is 4 weeks prior too early to start flushing in coco?

don't flush coco, the only time I flush is when I take a good crap.

Yes its too early although I havent flushed any of my coco grows. Your ppm's should never be > 600 so theres not a lot to flush. On the last week i'll dial back the nutes to half strength and thats it. I havent noticed any chemical taste to my buds. They taste like pineapple :D

Coco should have minimal build up if you've got a good amount of run off going. Myself, currently in week 4 of bloom, I water a single 7g fabric, two times a day, 12 hours apart for 8 minutes at a time, from an 8g reservoir (recirculating). I lose about 2g of water a day! My PPM is 614 (40 base from water). My medium is 70/30 coco/perlite.

If you flush coco with plain water you will throw it out of balance, ph wise, and then you'll get lock out of nutrients and that's no fun. The other growers already gave you great advice. Keep ppms low and ph 5.6-5.9 going in and you'll be good, just cut nutrients back a little the last week of flower, bammm
