Flushing

You would be surprised at what you can learn over the years to increase the quality of your harvest by just the dry/cure alone.

i can tell you quick dry your harvest by the texture/color and really im not picking on you but if you really want something to experiment with then i think you should attempt a longer more controlled dry period.
That harvest hung on its branches for almost 7 days before the final manicure. Then, after final manicure, the flower went into Turkey roasting bags, and into a dark, cool closet. Where I would open the bags from 1-6 hours per day for a couple of weeks.

I've been busy. I read all the replies and the articles and links you all provided and then some. I will have to say my opinion on flushing has been changed. I'm still going to carry on with my experiment on my two plants, one will be fade to finished with a flush and the other I will slowly lower the nutes as directed.

As for the rest I'm going with lowering nutes as well, mostly because I want to perfect the technique and like I said I've been convinced by the science mostly.

I did find and steal this article that argues both sides really well, although it ends up with concluding flushing is ok in some situations, it looks at both sides and is very thorough.

I don't agree with all of his theories but I like the idea that flushing in the end is more of a "quick finish" to speed the break down of chlorophyll and improve taste without a long cure time. It doesn't say those words exactly but that's what I got out of it.

I conclude that if properly finished there's no need for a flush, the plant does it itself, just be patient I guess. 4 weeks to go!
