"Foliar Feeding" As A Seedling

I just started misting my young 5 day old seedling with a little purified water on the stem, top of the leaves, and under the leaves, and I wanted to know if this will harm the plant or is it good for it?

Misting plants is generally bad for the plant. As it gets bigger it will cause it to droop badly. It causes the plant toflush stored nitrogen in the leaves down to the root system which will slow down growth.

Foliar feeding isn't putting water on the leaves, your supposed to to that. Foliar feeding is feeding the plants nutrients through the leaves not all nutrients can be used that way. Some will very badly burn your plants.

That's why I put quotation marks around Foliar Feeding, because it's not exactly FF.

I guess I could've called it "misting" though, I wasn't really thinking.

If you read up on it, that is exactly what misting does. I made that mistake on my first grow. Also if growing indoors light can be amplified by water droplets and can burn your leaves.

+ rep for what?
What's the point of it.

Also, as I'm reading up on it more it's saying that an occasional misting is good for them.

I did but it's pretty pointless.
I hope to God that people aren't only answering questions in hopes of earning rep.
