Got a couple samples of snowstorm and was going to foliar feed it. Do people use a penetrator with it? Also, should I ph balance before application or just mix and spray like liquid light

+rep for any help

Foliar feeding can be very benefical to your plants during both the veg and flower stage. As far as all these products on the market which are miracle products to increase resin production or make your buds grow to the huge monsters the breeders and product manufacturers show you, mostly snake oil. Good overall health of your plant from beginning to end, the proper temps for your strain, with the correct amount and correct application times of nutes will do more than anything.
Molasses can help both as a foliar feed and added to the soil. If you are growing in soil molasses can help if your soil is amiss of the proper microbes. As a foliar feed molasses give you plant an extra boost of carbohydrates needed for rapid growth, too much can lead to, too much vegative growth with can lead to a weaker plant.
I hope this gives you some things to consider, here is a link on the use of molasses, whether it works or not only you can decide. When trying new things always try on one or two plants at a time so that you can see side by side with another plant if there is truly any difference.

Happy Growing

i use snowstorm every feeding. 1/2 TSP per gallon.

takes 3 feedings to take effect.

you can use 1/2 TSP per gallon and never get burn, or have to raise the lights.

Foliar? don't bother.

Don't bother with foliar!? I foliar feed all the time. Im running hydro with a 50 gallon rez so thats ALoT of cash plus, sounds like it doest play nice with thr rez anyways. No airstone? Fuck that.

I foliar fed twice a week with liquid light and got excellent results. I'm now trying out liquid karma and molasses. It's very amusing to me that nobody foliar feeds yet dumPs tons of sugars in their water mix when the ability of roots to intake sugars is extremely limited. Stomata however can absorb all kinds of sugars. The more I read about snow storm, the more it seems that those that have done side by side comparisons say it does little to nothing.

I use 1 TSP per gal and I foliar feed every week in flower up until the last two weeks. You can see results with in a week or two. I didn't ph my foliar and I raise my lights 3 inches untill all my plants are dry.

Snowstorm is whatevs' it dosen't live it to the hype, i usually don't introduce anything into my garden that i would use for future use for consistency reasons unless i'm doing like controlled testing on a few.

Ive used both Snow Storm and Purple Max and imho Purple Max is better, and the bottle says they recomend foilar feeding with it!!! For tha readers

Cant speak for others....yes I use terp tea and a few other things. But I have used this for 14 years. And it definitely is not snake oil for people who think so. It has nutrients in it that turn up the plants natural defence system (the trichromes) . It's not just a npk boost or some bs. I do run only breeder cuts and a healthy garden. But never had any sub par results

It used to be potassium hydroxide and salicylic acid but now it's just potassium hydroxide supposedly. I don't need any more potassium, and I always treat my plants a couple of times with aspirin water-cheap snowstorm i guess? I advise any new growers to skip any product that has a "cool" name or a dragon, sasquatch, or any other mythical beast on the label, except for unicorns.

Sucrose and other sugars are said to feed microbes in soil or potting mix, such as lactobacillus, which in turn help with the decomposition of organic matter. An old-time organic-fertilizer saying was, "Feed the soil, let the soil feed the plant," or something like that.

Synthetic nutes, OTOH, feed the plant directly. Sorry, I don't know anything about snowstorm.
